This. While I know this really would never happen, Founders are what REALLY make a game come to fruition and that would be one heck of a proper and awesome reward. I am all for the founder looking armor that was released in AQW, but honestly having something like the Nulgath character would be something to be both proud of and extremely happy to get. Not to mention show those of us who are founders just how appreciated we really are.

Since I have started playing AE games I have been a founder in everything I can be, but in most cases I found that founders "rewards" while good, seem to lack any real sign of pure awesomeness. I mean, as far as I know, the founder items from AE, DragonFable and MechQuest are all fairly weak or forgotten, and until "Battle Pets" were introduced all AQW's founders got was a rare pet (and while a platinum dragon is way cool, there was a TON of rare pets to choose from) The only real game to seem to have done founder rewards TRULY right is EpicDuel. You got a very customizable cool looking set of armor that even now I can use and do VERY well with and THAT is what a founder reward in my eyes should be like.

PLEASE don't take what I am saying out of context as I do not mean for it to sound like I am being greedy. Being a founder is also an honor and I am proud to be able to say that I fall among those that are of this group. I REALLY like that they continue to honor founders in AQWs even after 4 years and I have never had a second thought at being one. I am just voicing my opinion about what a great founder gift would be.

While I do love Nulgath and the thought of this character sounds awesome he should not just be handed to founders for spending a minimum of $20 on the game he should be a character in the future that everyone will have a chance to catch

Let me offer my complete concurrence. Such an iconic character shouldn't only be limited to those who paid. Founders deserve the best, but not at the cost of taking something like that away from others.

Ok, my point is that founders are the reason the game becomes a real reality in the first place, and frankly they DO deserve something TRULY special. So if it isn't say NULGATH himself then why not his earlier form as Miltonius.

I guess a good way to make my point is this, stress testers got an iconic character in the void knight because they participated in a special test phase. (I say iconic because it was the very first hard to earn armor reward in AQW's) and while very important in its own right, being a founder is the important financial backing that is required to make a game even have a chance at the start. So why SHOULDN'T founders get something truly special rather then just a different looking Guardian/Paladin looking character?

PS: I have also bought three of the higher packages already do I guess I feel some what justified in saying founders deserve something special...

You can't really compare Void Knights and Miltonius since one is just a minion of Miltonius and the other is the creator of the game. I always think moderator or developer items should be available for everyone through a lot of effort.

Ok, please don't take this the wrong way as I know that things typed instead of spoken can be taken out of context, however either you are intentionally ignoring my point or you actually think that founders don't deserve anything special...

My point was not that they had to get MILTONIUS as much as they should be getting some iconic just like Stress Testers did. Stress Testers get the really cool ORIGINAL Void and right now it seems like all founders are getting is some generic character that is called a founder knight. Sure it will be unique, but it doesn't have any real special background or anything like that.

I don't care if it is Nulgath, Miltonius, The floating Oblivion Blade of Nulgath, Hex/Fiend ect ect... even some other sort of "Pure Void" or some sort of thing like that would be cool.

Founders deserve to get something truly special, otherwise it is a slap in the face to all of us who support a game that is still seriously in its infancy stage full of bugs and with no guarentee that is will even get off the ground. That is a risk we take and we deserve something for giving that blind faith to them...

As long as it isn't Miltonius I agree that founders can have it. I was saying that Miltonius is too special to not make available for everyone. Besides, I'm sure founders will get gifts every year, so you won't be stuck with that armor if you really dislike it.

Founders didn't make this game a reality. If they did they'd have to pay before the game was launched.
By your thinking Alpha Testers are more important than Founders....With out Alpha input you would have nothing but bugs to deal with.
Just because you spent money on multiple SG packages doesn't justify anything,least of all getting any other rewards than the ones given for the purchases.
Important Financial Backing? Please....we're still in Beta. The SG stuff wasn't even needed yet..
And honestly.....complaining about a founder reward before it's even released?

I'm fine with just getting that Founder Knight character and don't see it as a slap in the face the founder character doesn't need some special background it's a unique character that will most likely have some special animations and hopefully some different cards that are unique to it

What, are you serious? Why not just pay SGs to have the game flash a "You Win" screen non-stop? You really must not want to play the game; leveling is basically the most integral part of it.

You need leveling to do any well in PvP and PvE, so yes you were.

Farming the PvE button for exp/gold isn't why I play the game. It's just a boring necessity. If you enjoy that kind of thing, power to you I guess.

Note that even if his idea was implemented, you would still need to level up...just less time spent doing it.

That's all we really have to do at this point; possess things and evolve them. If you level characters up enough you can also play well in PvP.

I don't know what type of logic you work with, but what I said has nothing to do with nor any baring on Alpha or Beta players for that matter, and frankly yes being a founder IS more important then being an Alpha, Beta or even Stress tester. I am not in any way saying these people and or titles are not important btw, however when it boils down to it AE and all its games are part of a business. When it comes down to it the whole point of a business is making money, sure it can be and hopefully is a passion for them as well because that will really reflect in their work, but I can promise you that if this game started to cost them more then they were making from it they would be doing something really fast to change it or they would shut it down. Choosing to be a founder for a game before it is even past it's beta stage IS a huge deal because there is truly no real protection from losing that invested money. Sure it isn't a huge amount for those of us who can work, but I value every dollar I both make and spend. It is not like pre-ordering a game from Gamestop or something only to find out it has been cancelled, because then you just go back and get a refund. That wouldn't happen here... So yes, it is a risk and while I truly think that AE has more then proven then know what they are doing and backing them to me is a fairly safe risk, it is STILL a risk.

I don't know where you get off being so pompous towards me or my post, especially considering everything I said has both points to back it up and is done so in a way that SHOULDN'T offend anyone (and if it has I truly apologize for that as it was not my intent.) IF you feel the need to comment on my posts then I expect you to show me the same common courtesy I try my best to show everyone else on here.

As for the comment about complaining on a founder reward that isn't even released yet? No, just no. I never said that the founder knight would be crap or that I wouldn't want it, what I said is that as a founder we deserve something that is special and has some significance to it. It would be nice if the founder reward was something that was both unique and had some sort of connection to Miltonius/Nulgath considering this is his game. Otherwise other then rarity how is it any different than having a Light Guardian or Berserker?

Founders is "donating" money to OS in the very beginning; so yes they are indeed making the game a reality.

Also, let's just say Miltonius and his Evo's should be accesible to everyone (seeing as there is a story and Nulgath killed us; he will properly be the main antagonist of that story)

Hi first time poster here long time fan been playing AQ, DF and AQW for a good few years now.

first i want to say oversoul is great loveing it :) i just have one major suggestion and this comes from years of playing card games i suggest applying some sort of penelty to the player who gets the first turn (say 3 cards in the starting hand and 3 starting energy) this is to offset the fact that this player gets an extra turn.

besides that the game is great keep up the good work ill defenatly be buying some gems :)
