i decided to put this post here since trans advised me to well i was thinking that once you use say masscre or supercharge for the rest of the battle it will be deactivated the reason for this is that when we have higher levels the battles will be quite long. so yeah please give me your thoughts on this and thank you!

Ok most duels don't even last long enough to loop these moves and even if they do unless you have boosters to give yourself energy there is almost no way you can use these attacks twice. It is rare when they are looped so I would say no to that idea.

^ actually in the case of say tac merc and tech mages i have seem them loop cause of reroute and bh just use an energy bossters to loop so not entirely true

It's possible
But odds are it's either level 1 or 2 final, or it just won't happen

I said that with boosters. Also when fights last that long most are concerned about healing to stay alive unless they know the move will end their opponent. Besides the high cooldown rate for the move is more then enough to balance it out so this is another reason why I don't think ultimate moves should be one time use.

^ what about if the requirments are increased so they wont use the specials as often therefore more balanced builds

With amount of skill points raising and the fact new skills won't be added anytime soon (below tier 4), we will have a lot of skill points 'spare' which allows easily to get 2ndary skill trained (damaging skill so say Ultimate + other damaging one). Amount of Energy they already require is hard to get as it is which means it's hard to use it more than twice, but as we will get more points, it will be easier (stat and skill).
But someday there'd be an issue with too many skill points and higher HP/EP - we are much higher level so we invest more in these - meaning that battles will last longer and one cast of Ultimate will be hindering the skill so much that it won't be worth training because of too low damage.

Although there would be advantage of this if class has very high Energy for example Caster TMs or in fact just 2 classes with Reroute, who can actually use it say twice on their current EP Pool and get more back from the damage received.
