After realizing Omega is coming out at December, I guess this could be the final stage ED will go through. I thought we were following the Greek alphabet.

I thought the Beta was intended to be a testing phase,but it's interesting to test a game through 3year.

and BTW nightwraith said that omega sounds cooler than any other greek alphabets. and it suits epicduel more too.

@above epicduel is all about fair gameplay and balance and its not like aqw so it will require more time to test each new features.

not true. ED is an MMO, nothing is ever "fully released". Fully released is for games like Borderlands 2, Call of Duty, Mass Effect, etc. Since this is a game with regular updates, Omega is not the end.

even though taking Omega as a name of this phase, what's going to be the next name of the next phase?

Since there was never an official announcement, and since Epicduel went directly from Beta (obvious test phase) to Gamma, the game is indeed technically still in a testing period. [:'(]

Well since Omega is the "Full Release" of the game, it kinda makes it it's last phase...
Omega is final phase of Epicduel...

Does it really matter which phase this game is in? This game has remained frozen in time for 4 years. I doubt much would change for the better, just more of the same.

Of course it isn't gonna go 3D multi platform pvpmmorpg.... It will always be a turn based pvpmmorpg.

If the game is still in the testing period what is there to come if it is fully released?
So does that mean if all the stages and omega ends (soon), epicduel will be regulated to itself without phases but just EpicDuel?
I'm really confused, or when omega ends EpicDuel ends (?) and starts the real release.
If some people pay, then how can it be a testing phase?
That's like paying to watch a trailer of a movie lol
I don't know what is going on besides the fact there is a new phase coming up
I would ask a dev or admin but I wouldn't expect an answer so yeah whats going to happen? ._.

Lol.

Honestly Im not sure if I really look forward to the next phase, no matter the name of it. After each phase have newer "features" released which have made the game considerably more boring. I hope that change now, but I highely doubt it. "Smoother animations" will not even be close to fix the lack of gameplay this game currently have today.

First off, my name is Angels not Angle. After each phase of this game, the only thing that really changes are the regulations that are placed onto the players. The game gets harder and even more complex in a bad discouraging rate with the same builds.

I noticed a trend among tester cheevos, the earliest bringing in the most rating points. If we followed alphabetical order, Omega would probably be 10 Rating Points or something considerably lower than Alpha.

Few things:
* We picked Omega because we liked how it sounded more than Epsilon :D
* We did not pick it to indicate that it is the final phase of EpicDuel
* The game is not, and has not, been in a "testing" phase for a long time. Though it's obviously always under development, like any good online game :)

We'll also be releasing more information about our progress as our plans solidify. Animation changes are certainly not the only thing we're working on ;)

ED is since beta a release candidate even that it had alot bugs, unbalance and less features there.
Omega is a marketing trick because it does not exist in common software release life cycle.
It should suggest that a new phase of the game will be released. But the game evolves and gets
updated constantly with its weekly releaes.
