I don't get it... why don't people use support builds anymore? They're super fun cuz you rely on luck (crits), you have a hell powered buffs/debuffs, and a crazy aux that wrecks. I just got my support build, and im pwning with it, why don't people use them anymore? Please discuss! :) -F4tal1tY

I Could, if i was TM Or Ch or another class that isn't BH, Support is super fun but it was even more fun with Supp on Field medic.

I would think that because some players have fun exploiting certain attack skills that improve by a stat (*blood-cough... ultimate skills), when considering Support, they only see Artillery, and change their mind.

cough strength BMs cough cough ehhh but a support build is still viable. I mean, what can you hate about a debuff of 50 tech and a aux of 24-29+39 damage!?!?! It's fun, unpredictable, unlike some builds, cough massacre BHs , that have no creativity or fun in them -.- i guess the new generation of players are just way too competitve :/

ah support builds. been using them since idk beta(not using it right now as well i do not play much and i need a build which can well beat boss npc/npc/nw/rabble ect ect) support bh was fun when heal improved with support ah the good times. right now support builds are still fun to use with the new weps charbringer E axe,wraith destroyer,pirate blunderbuss and harbinger husk a non var tlm cam easily abuse support, non var mercs included too.

I use a support build on my TLM. Looky under avatar :P My aux does 25-30+38 damage and I can gain +42 strength points through Field Commander on level 1. Support is VERY fun to use and I can even take on those cough coucgh blood cough cough*

cough why are we coughing cough diminishing returns always rains on my support parade, and I haven't really got the gear on my mage to make a ridiculously high support build. It is my main offensive stat on my tactical merc though ofc.

Back when we had the class threads in the Battle Strategy section, in the Blood alliance several people were talking about using support builds. I didn't have the right weapons for it then, but now I have one of the Wraith auxes, and when I enh it some more I will use support. Most BMs don't use supp because there aren't many skills that improve with it, but I'm doing it anyway.

I gave up on the Support Build for TM after Field Medic was changed to reflect level. Still, Supp Builds are very useful. My number one complaint, though, is deflection.

I generally don't use a support build since nowadays equips aren't good enough for it. Now I end up being an agressive tank or agressive 5 focus. Perhaps when I go as TM, I will reconsider as I enjoy my starter class.

And tbh, I am changing to TM soon to hurt everyone with a superb support build :) I was thinking Harvest Reaper, Dragon Slayer F, Dage's Skull Boomy, and an aux that is energy and has SOME support in it (can't find!!!)

Support build for TMs work pretty well even for non variums. I tried one with almost ideal weapons (Hazard Blaster requiring 28 str) and it was definitely a build worth trying when changing to TM.

my build is based at a support-based skill tree (is for higer level so i have made some changes)

I only used support build with mercenary( back when they killed 2vs2) and CH. As BM I don't rly like the support build, still TM can make great support builds( don't know why I don't see them often)

I have the ultimate support built on my mage and been using it for months. Works pretty good. Very good win % and keeps me looking smexy.

I tried support on my merc, not really going that well, have mostly decent gear FOR a support build can't quite get the knack of it..

Who doesn't like using a Infernal Interdictor with TM/CH support build and getting a 50+ crit with your aux.... Support is fun [:)]

@robo That's like the one exception. I think the Interdictor's special had support builds in mind.

well im just wondering, should i get the Dragon Buster II? it seems to have pretty good support stats! :) and its rare xD however i wont have enough varium to enhance :/ only buy! so what does everyone think about this? -F4tal1tY

I use the Dragon Buster on this character Rawhead Rex but I have a 4 focus build and decent tech AND dex so that I don't get deflected or blocked so much. for a straight support build I'm not sure if it's ideal, as you normally use more tech and the +8 strength would be better off on any of the 3 other stats. Requirements are fine though ofc.
