Being a player that owns the armour himself i think i can talk, i dont want all this stuff thats going to make it nealy impossible for players to land a decent strike on me if i wanted the game to be that easy i would go be a str abusing BH.

And its in my knowledge that its not refundeable due to the fact that Battleon or Artix Games has the rights to change/ edit the game the game in any way they see fit - By law and anybody playing one of their corrosponding games has agreed to this in the TOS.

I own the armor myself as well and I use it. Also I didn't make this thread another user made it and his complaint was that the attack is being abused by strength builds which as we all know are OP. Plus as stated the armor was advertised as and unblockable attack that 25% rage. Not a special that could be blocked. Which is why I am against lowering the rage steal or making it blockable.

Plus why what you said is true there is also the saying unhappy costumers are bad for business, and if they were to change around every promo after people brought them just because some people don't like them, or some outside factor (in this case strength Being OP) then it would be bad for business.

From what I read in this thread the original compliant was the attack damage not the rage steal. If that were lowered or Strength itself was nerfed I could live with that because it wasn't advertised as an attack that does 100% damage. It was advertised as an item that give an unblockable special that steal 25% rage. if they changed that I wouldn't be getting what I paid for and it would be completely unfair for those who brought the promo want wait was advertised.

@Mother1 I did say making the damage normal/ 100% or keeping it at the rate it is and removing the 25% rage steal i did not say nurf it completely, they could just simply lower its damage to normal - it would still slow rage gain and do 100% normal damage guarenteed.

@above what removing the rage steal?! cant you read the promo description? removing the rage steal would be a rip off and we all need to get a refund.

Thats why multiple suggestions were put in, read it properly please, if the damage was reduced to normal damage it would be more efficient. and once again we would not need a refund by law artix entertainment holds the rights to change the game in any way they deem fit. this is a bylaw stated in the TOS cannot be held liable for any inconvenience it may cause.

you seriously lack the logic in this, do you know anything about marketting? if they change the platinum's pride in anyway different to how they introduced it it would make them lose customers and profit because players will be afraid to buy the next promo thinking that they would change it again. and promos are meant to be stronger than the average gear, so there is no reason that you should complain about it.

The problem with these promos is that similar to commercials ;t hey tend to trick people into claiming a "enhanced balanced classes" is not OPed and claim the less balanced ones fine, though they aren't ( i.g Mercenary and Tech Mage during Gamma times ) .

@metallico its easy for you to say it should get nerfed. That 25% rage steal is like ineffective for half the time, people still rage against me after i use it.

@king the damage i do is NOTHING to tanks already, and 25% is kinda useless... why make it 20% seriously, this is just a bunch of people complaining about an armor they don't have because they want 'balance'. If you want balance, nerf strength, not the armor, the armor special isn't that strong......

@death you are uhh... lacking some knowledge in this matter. TrizZz is right, and you are right too.... The devs ARE allowed to edit the game in anyway they see fit. But this is real money, not in-game currency. Lets say you bought a chair, and a week later, the business sends people to take 1 leg away so you're left with a useless 3 legged chair that doesnt balance, and you don't get a refund. Thats like lowering the damage. You get what you pay for. Like trizZzy said, this is simple marketing , business' are simply to earn a profit, or provide a service or something. In this case, i am really happy with epicduel right now (except for 5 focus BMs >.<)
