I am very sick of massacre, like it just annoys the heck outtta me! What makes it worse, is the fact that after massacre comes...?
RAGE! That is the part of the match where you go *Bye bye world!*
So why don't we make it that when you use massacre there is NO rage gain from it.
Seems fair don't ya think? Massacre already does epic damage and either kills you or leaves you low health.
You'll probably heal, but then... Rage comes and you are absolutely stuffed.


So what do you think about the No rage gain with massacre idea?

Just nerf massacre... Easy, and makes the 30% (exaggerated) non-BH massacre people happy!!! Seriously.... too much BH now. The people against the nerf is mostly BH [:@]

Not always there is Rage. It is up with your Defense and Resistance not allowing you to do much damage.

I have to agree with Neos on this one. If a strength abuser/user attacks someone with high defenses they will gain good rage. Plus many times when I stop massacre by draining energy they rage on the turn they would have massacred meaning they already had rage before using massacre. It is the same with me with Supercharge a lot of times or Surgical strike when I am using the merc class.

Honestly, I think only Surgical Strike special should gain rage, because of it's special ability

Rage doesn't always come and that would nerf the Cyber Hunters 'cause we have no health regain after it.

Surgical strike steals rage it doesn't give you the rage you steal. Only Chairman's fury gives you the rage that you take away from the opponent. Also doing that would be a nerf not only to cyber hunters (since they are the only class who doesn't gain health back from using an ultimate move) But it would also be nerfing BM and TM as well which isn't needed because one class has a move everyone is complaining about.

Rage comes quite often after the 4th attack. Should massacre really be nerfed just because people can use it only after the 3rd warm up turn (on the 4th turn)?

We should implement Mother1's balance suggestion to change Massacre to a constant rate of increase not relative to weapon damage.

Edit: also, Bounty Hunters would be more stable with some attacks unlike Cheap Shot that improve by Support first, Technology second.

Or you could just use Chairman's Fury on them and steal their rage

That will only work for varium players since the armor is a varium one. What about non variums who can't get this armor?

If they did put that into play then Massacre would also need a secondary effect of health gain that doesn't stack with bloodlust kind of like how supercharge doesn't stack with bloodlust for a blood mage. I say this because while this nerf will power down Bounty hunters to a less powerful state, Cyber hunters will take this worse the bounty hunters since they will suffer a damage reduction. Remember unlike the rest of the classes Cyber hunter is the only class that doesn't gain back health when they use their ultimate.

Well I can't think of anything for them but I still do not support this idea.

This would nerf Cyber Hunter too. I don't see why everyone wants to nerf BH.

Everyone doesn't like that massacre is so strong. Combine it with bloodlust and it is a nightmare for most of them. Funny thing is even though it is stoppable they still want it nerfed because of the chance that their attempts to stop it can fail, or be undone with boosters.
