Mysterion. -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 12:28:56)

I think aux, too long for a gun. And the handles of it are the same as the normal ones from auxes.
The handles of guns are different and have a more long handle for your hand.

Smackie El Frog -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 12:42:37)

Hmm even if they are Auxes who says they can't have spread damage?[8D]

Ranloth -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 12:43:44)

..... :O That's a fair point! Revival of Support builds if that was to happen? Apparently build is dead or rather requires thinking & it'd go great with Dage's Gun! ;) (Support TM and BM will get the most outta it if that was to happen)

Whirlwindstorm2 -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 14:47:08)

Weapons weren't exactly what I was expecting.. Oh wells, gives me credits to enhance!

Mysterion. -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 14:53:17)

Well, prepare for even more OP str builds because now, were screwed.

And support builds can get good weapons, but for tank builds there isnt much but one with 15+ dex.

What do you think about it guys?

Edit: it are auxes, knew it.

Posts merge, due to a thread merge. ~Mecha

8x -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 16:50:10)

Most of the weapons that give a lot of strength don't give any dexterity, so I wouldn't worry about it. And besides, people are able to reach any amount of strength needed for a good strength build nowadays because of the enhancements.

Shift3r -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 16:56:56)

I'd rather to wait for the upcoming Omega update,who knows what would happen to certain *cough* builds XD

zion -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 17:46:27)

@8x: Agreed, stat placements only affect nonvars these days... and they can't be OP by definition, so not much new. Save credits for the new breed of Varium-level weps for crazy high prices!

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 18:05:03)

They remind of me of old black powder rifles more then a blunderbuss but either way these weapons were made to kill and they would shatter bones on impact where a modern bone will punch right through if the temporary cavity doesn't take the limb off so maybe have a bleeding damage instead of a spread damage. That or cripple strength/dex because your bone is shattered and tearing you apart from the inside

Lord Nub -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 18:37:06)

I think they are total crap for cap players, str cappers included. Intentions here seem to be for the lower non-varium levels.

Rayman -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 18:44:33)

With This Update I can see that the staff finally noticed that the game needed more support weps, But they did it bad, 12 Support is too much and the weapons don't even have special ability or atleast HIgh stats. :/

Lord Nub -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 18:47:17)

Think that was more or less to counter the strength. Hopefully with Omega they increase the use of support. Maybe it will increase field medic a tad.

Rayman -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 18:49:25)

Deflect to Supp and Field Medic To support, if that happends again, It can be one of the best ED Relases Lol.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: Rabblefroths new weapons (11/21/2012 18:51:04)

I hope we don't drop back into the old rut that is what I always fear when I see F2P's only getting a sword. Luckily this time we got a mid level aux too [;)]

Hun Kingq -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 20:17:26)

Classes revamped this is great maybe finally the Blood Mage, Cyber Hunter, and Tact Merc can finally get their own unique unshared skills that will bring more variety to the game. The skills that need a big time change or replacement is the high energy draining skills because if your in a class where all your skills require a good amount of energy and no way to restore enough of it, to even heal, that class or classes need an energy regain.

When skills are similar then those skills should be equal in damage, critical chance, and energy usage, there is more than one skill that are similar.

The multis should be a powerful skill that should help the team win in 2v2 but not too powerful to destroy the other team in the 2nd round. Each class multi skill should be affected by a debuff skill so a new debuff skill needs to be created to affect support.

Intimidation needs to not only affect the base stat but also the whole stat that includes weapon damage.

With unique unshared skills they could finally stop this balance yo-yo game.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 20:59:01)

@hun kingq uh how about no to your suggestion of buffing intimidate, it is a already deadly debuff for bloodmages. they can deal high damage and gain health while we are intimidated and only deal 6 damage? bad bad bad. again you are only supporting your own class. bloodmage is OP in many ways

King Helios -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/21/2012 22:28:35)

@Hun kingq: Please stop. If you think Blood Mage is UP or OP, take it to the EpicDuel Balance section.

ONTOPIC: The weapons are not my style, but the art is excellent! It will really spice up the non-var generic art image!

Luna_moonraider -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 2:06:52)

well the new weps are gr8 for low lvls the zooka are very strong for a lvl 24 wep(dmg wise) so happy that the devs are showing the low lvls some love.

Edit out off-topic comment. ~Mecha

Midnightsoul -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 2:40:06)

Looking forward to Omega that's what. I want that diversity so bad.

Promiscuous -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 5:15:41)

I like the new weapons' idea but I'd still choose my E Nautilasher for support build anyday.

zion -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 5:40:25)

They are fine weapons with nice art. They may fill a need for some random f2p build, but the new crop of uber-expensive credit/varium items are the best bet for any non-var: weapons that can last more than a few months of gameplay!

Lord Noonien Soong -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 7:33:26)

can't wait for omega release

Blaze The Aion Ender -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 8:03:10)

I might go for a staff.
The one with no str req, energy one.
I wanted a staff without str for a while, then I'm going to buy the wraith aux without str, caster build ftw xD.
Not to mention support build.
And good strengthless 5 focus build.

Hun Kingq -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 8:31:47)

From Design notes

"One way we hope to achieve this is by eliminating or modifying overlapping skills."

So I will not stop

No two dissimilar class should have shared the same skills and since the Blood Mage is and evolved version of the tech mage they should have had a combination of energy/physical attacks.

The Blood Mage needs their own melee attack that they can call their own that shows the physical aggression.

The Blood Mage needs their own debuff skill that is like no other and can be called their own.

I hope they use some of the skills I suggested throughout the year as well as others.

Titan realizes this so why can't this small group of players that can't come up with nothing but only attacks on others.

I think the changes coming with Omega in the design notes are more important than the weapons.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: =ED= Rabble's Bounty - Nov. 20, 2012 (11/22/2012 13:32:10)

@Bun kingq: yes we know whats coming, it just seems annoying when you say it. so what? is this a perfect chance for you to have the devs buffing bloodmage because you cant exploit its true potential? the combination of intimidate, bloodlust, bludgeon and deadly aim is the most OP ingame, i have managed to lose 5 fight out of 50 battles with strength bloodmage. i support the change of skills for them if it means that they are not going to have a overpowered combination of skills. they should not have any damage increase passives, if they do bloodlust should be removed and be replaced with something that gives minimal health back.
