@Art I think that letting us RP outside of AE worlds is a good idea. That was kind of the appeal of private forums I think, cause you didn`t have to RP in AE worlds. This could bring more sparks to the bored. As for VA, IDK I saved most of my posts, bios, and things I had planned out for Bravo Gibber and Slanton so I`m covered in that regard but you hosts are gonna have some work cut out for you.

The whole OCCs being eaten thing bothers me. I have some things for Frydae saved but I had just recently picked it up and hadn`t had time (or expected this to happen) to comb through the occ and peck out the data I needed. I, I just don`t know what I`m gonna do with Frydae once things go back to normal, I don`t even know if I`ll be able to host it with the new guidelines. I have to talk to my team.

I'm thinking that's going to be most likely a no Black Knight. Copy right infringement is something you don't want to mess with. However I have a feeling there are a few that might be okay, the ones that allow fan fiction might be alright, but don't take any of this for truth. Go post your question in the Q&A Thread Superjars made.

@Arthur: Since the post count, topic count, etc. is still listing stuff for the RPA forum, there's a good chance it's just hidden or archived where noone can see it.

Eitherway, don't assume it's lost until it's confirmed.

On a side-note, I have a tab with the VA OOC frontpage still open.

I don't think we can, as it could be perceived as copyright infringement. We once had a RP entirely based on Jade Empire (I think the name was Madate of Heaven) which the mod locked because of that reason.

But just to make sure, you should post your question in the Q&A. It's open for questions you might have.

I think they confirmed they indeed lost everything OOC related.

Oh well.
I'm still kinda sad about everything being eaten away, and I find the 6 RP's limit troubling. What if you get denied/lack of space?

Not really, I remember one of the mods saying that changes where going to be coming down the pipe and I had a feeling after last week that something might be happening soon.
Yeah we'll have a brand new sparkling RP form, but untill then keep them hardhats on. Don't want anyone getting accidentally injured by this remodel.

It`s not that sudden TBH, I mean after the TFA thing, the locking of the RPA OOC, the migration to the other forum, and the active here slumming to a claw changes where needed. Jars even said changes would happen like the day or so before this started.

And his interesting love for OP characters.

@Kooroo and Knight, yes, it does stsnd for Of Dragons and Hunters, a modern day RP about modern day teenagers/adult youngsters who are actually incarnations of Ancient Dragons. They live in the same town and socialise with the Descendents of Dragon Hunter Families. They are unaware of each others' backgrounds, but for how long?

To all those who are worried about the forums eating the RPA's OOC, all of the data has not been permanently lost. If you do some exploring via Google's cache, you'll be able to find most of the information that has been lost, including first posts (I've already stored Vanguard's, Frydae's, and Assassin's Guild's-though without proper coding), bios, and any ideas posted if your search is specific enough. It's an unfortunate inconvenience, but it is fully possible to regain most of what's been lost.

I thought that you all should be appraised of this information so that you can go searching if you wish.

@Kinz I haven't read anything about VA, but isn't it like a fighting school? The school I'm talking about wouldn't be a fighting school. Just like a regular high school in the town of BattleOn. They don't fight. But there would be the occasional monster they would have to deal with.

Basically, the forums are undergoing big changes, you can read it all on the Q&A.
And good news people, we can use other worlds, BUT we can't do anything..copyright-ish. So, I can't for example be Sauron or Joker.
