Chosen 0ne -> Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/2/2012 19:33:21)

I have about had it with all these people saying things aren't against the rules because it doesn't clearly say it is.

One of these issues is having alts in factions.
quote:

l. You agree not to disrupt the normal flow of the games and dialogue, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other people’s ability to use the Service;

Thats what it lands under. But it isnt clear at all.

However most people that were not here when the rule was added are oblivious to it. They need to change the rules, so that it lists everything you cant do.

Supported.
many players dont know that u cant have 2 of ur accounts in the same faction, or that they cant share accounts with anybody.

Mother1 -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/2/2012 19:39:01)

@ goldslayer1

They have the second one in things did you know. I see it clearly every few battle stat this fact. However as for the topic itself I support it as well.

@above supported they should enforce the rules because there are still new people into the game and get confused on what certain rules are applied to the game

Cyber Dream -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/2/2012 20:56:29)

Considering we have a young generation playing this game, the rules need to be rewritten so it could be understood by older and younger people.

Supported!
We also need the "Rules" more visible... I know, that when I first play a game, I always look at the DN's! Maybe, in each post, they could "Promote" the rules. Just a simple:
"For new and old players, make sure that you know all of our rules! You can find our Terms and Conditions/Rules of Agreement here: >>X<<

I was once in a faction that a guy had 3 high level accounts in
He played them all in jugg at once, on a good computer, so he got wins for fac jugg three times as fast

SCAR -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/3/2012 22:01:36)

Blaze: Wow that's crazy (And Funny.) I recently had to remove & account from my faction, and it felt hard to do at first, but than later on, I now relize how much more freedom I have.

Edit: With that current account.

LatinLover/Martini -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/3/2012 23:03:45)

Maybe input a little rule book imput as one of the buttons at the bottom of the screen

Eventus -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/4/2012 3:52:29)

EpicDuel actually already has its own set of Rules, but it's extremely outdated, which is probably why it was even removed from the EpicDuel Homepage. I will be looking more into this issue to see if the page could possible be more publicized/updated, but in the meantime, if anyone else has concerns about something that should be clarified in the Rules, please feel free to comment now!

RageSoul -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/4/2012 8:29:22)

Yeah , i agree that they tend to be confusing too , so maybe perhaps they should make the dialogue more simpler instead ?

Chosen 0ne -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/4/2012 10:36:35)

Oh man. Theres probably bunches of things.

Put down dummying and the definition of dummying I guess.

Mother1 -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/4/2012 10:40:05)

Even though it is said openly I still have players begging me for varium and some are even willing to give me their passwords for it. I know it is shown in many things such as the items for homes, the did you know and other places, but these people need to know that begging for varium and account sharing isn't allowed. A friend of mine got hacked because of this.

Shift3r -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/4/2012 20:04:27)

Well,I've read Artix Entertainment's general rules before creating my account,thus :

b. You agree not to use any harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language;

c. You agree not to impersonate any Staff Member, including any Forum Moderators and IRC Operators;

d. If asked by a member of Staff to stop or change a behavior or action, you will do so;

e. You agree not to run the same character in more than one browser window;

f. You agree not to use memory cheats to alter the running game code in your browser;

g. You agree not to cheat, hack or make any attack on the server in any way;

h. You agree not to open multiple accounts with the Service;

i. You agree not to transmit or make available in the Service or Site any advertising, promotional materials or any other forms of solicitation;

If it's running at the same time , how is this even possible? Not that i'm arguing , just wondering , though .

Mother1 -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/5/2012 12:14:02)

If you have more then one account (not within the same master account but another one) you can have two characters on the same ISP running on the screen. People would do this to get their alts into their factions and cheat the system

XapApp -> RE: Things need to be addressed CLEARLY in the rules (12/7/2012 5:36:53)

I suggest the rules be shown in-game written simply for players to understand. This would make it much easier to show others the rules if they're breaking them and saying that what they're doing isn't against the rules.
