I know that the thought and application of the juggernaut was a cool idea in the beginning.Now it has become a big hassel because of te many back to back matches so you cant get a decient 2v2 battle.I feel that ti needs to end or give them one of the worlds for their own. you got from 0-7 you could choose from for juggernaut battles.

Mother1 -> RE: Juggernaut (12/4/2012 15:02:58)

Well this happened when they made Jug fights a faction thing. Many loyal players are doing this to support their factions so of course it would increase. However as for you idea not supported in the least. If this were done no one would go these worlds except those who are anti jug builds and it would destroy the entire juggarnaut mode and make the people who want to support their factions suffer.

rej -> RE: Juggernaut (12/4/2012 18:12:38)

The jug system might be slightly unfair for the 2-player team (it used to be much worse, but it has been made more air several times) but this is certainly no reason to kill or completely remove the mode, as you are suggesting.

Pallosalama -> RE: Juggernaut (12/5/2012 16:30:39)

Slightly? Are you serious? At leadt 80% of time when I encounter juggernauts we lose. Actually, I can only remember 1 single battle where we won against juggernaut in past few days.

Juggernaut battle itself is not bad idea, however amount of people doing it is.
When you have to refuse to play 2v2 just because of juggernauts there is something wrong. I mean, I prefer 2v2 over 1v1. But I don't really want go 2v2 seeing at least half of time there are juggernauts popping up. Longest streak I had was like 8 juggs in a row, imagine that. Not very fun.

What I would suggest is anti-juggernaut card that prevents juggs from appearing. It would cost for example 15k, so not everyone would buy it at level range where juggs appear. And those who hate them would gladly pay that amount just to play regular 2v2.

Mother1 -> RE: Juggernaut (12/5/2012 16:49:38)

Pallosalama

Not supported. If this came out then for the small cost of 15K credits Juggarnaut mode would be destroy. Everyone in their right minds would by this and those who want to support their factions or go for the Juggernaut cheevo will suffer.

Besides all you need to do is level up to 31 and boom you won't have to face Jugs. Also as I stated before the reason why Jugs are popping up so much is because the staff added Jug battles to factions. When I was leveling up it wasn't like this since Jug fights weren't faction based. Are you trying to make these people who support their factions suffer just because you don't want to deal with Jugs?

Here is an Idea make an anti Jug build. Many players are adapting to do so and believe it or not even with the faction jug thing the staff has been making it easier for the players to fight back against jugs.

Pallosalama -> RE: Juggernaut (12/5/2012 18:39:29)

I have tried anti-jugg build, and yes it is easier to fight against juggs. But no, it won't really help in winning, seeing you can't choose your partner and most of the juggs know what they are doing so it doesn't matter if you have counter-jugg build or not.

And yes, I know that after level 31 you no more encounter juggs. However it is long road to there ...

Blaze The Aion Ender -> RE: Juggernaut (12/5/2012 19:19:03)

A long road we all travelled, mate

Mother1 -> RE: Juggernaut (12/5/2012 19:50:39)

Blaze is right we all had to go through this unless you past the level range before Jug mode came out

Exploding Penguin -> RE: Juggernaut (12/5/2012 21:26:23)

@Angels Holocaust: Juggernaut, as it stands, is definitely one of the worst things that happened to ED in my opinion. Level 29s and level 30s facing a jugg should have a 50/50 win ratio on average though, it's just that there's such an abundance of terrible builds COPIED off of other players which makes juggs win literally all the time. It would definitely be reasonable to increase the jugg fighting level range by 1. I think a main problem of why so many people in level 35 jugg level ranges have really bad builds is because there's a humongous transition of players you fight against in that level range. Since barely any players up to level 30 are varium, a lot of new players and low level players just spam really bad builds like the extremely common max zerker max bunker build. When you reach the level 27s+, you start seeing a lot more varium players, and this is where the transition begins, where the players start losing more than 50% of their fights until they realize their builds are terrible and they become creative, intelligent, and actually think when they make a new build. As concerning as this dilemma is, I doubt there's anything somewhat simple that the game makers can do to fix it as of now. If this problem were to be fixed, it'd take months of experimental balance changes.

Mother1 -> RE: Juggernaut (12/5/2012 21:49:50)

@ expolding

What about f2P players? As it stands now they are at a huge disadvantage against varium players as of late. Plus with what they are doing for omega Jug fights are going be even harder now then ever before. I am willing to bet as soon as omega comes the jug win rate will drop a lot since people will be able to make there builds even more powerful thanks to stat freedom. Free two play jugs and varium jugs will have their work cut out for them when this happens I can grantee it.

SCAR -> RE: Juggernaut (12/6/2012 7:56:00)

All I see here is complaining, if you don't like 2vs2 don't play it.

Just as the others have said, everyone has went threw battling "Juggernaut's" And honestly I don't know about you guys but, when I was a rookie I looked forward too battling Juggernaut's, it was a big thing in the past, and I think it still is now.

If anything it's unfair for the Juggernaut's, when I was a Juggernaut one time I faced to level 30's at level 34, (Obviously I lost)

Long Story Short I don't Support this Idea.
