As much as I'd like them to be energy, just look at them they don't have a colorful glow around the blade, there are no lazers or crystals around it. It's a spitting image of a physical blade, it does look physical.
Oh and since all weaponds are pretty much the same now expect for it's element, this weapond better have a really good ability to make it stand out from the rest, like 25% damage bonus on attacks as a passive, or reflect damage ability so when you use it the next attack your enemy makes you'll each take 50% of the damage done. So if your enemy using masscre and would normally do 50 damage to you, you each take 25 damage as a refelct ability and you can only use it once per battle seems pretty fair.
Or a fury attack, where the weapond has a 10% chance to go into fury mode, an unblockable on any attack 100-120% damage attack, for any skill, or an automactic rage?
Or Healing, each attack has a 25% chance to heal you for 15-25% of you health.
Or calm, each attack has a 25% chance to steal, 50% rage.
Oh heres an OP one turn the tide of battle, your weapond has a 10% chance on any attack to steal all your oppents rage and give it to yourself.
These are very OP, but you get the generally idea, lol I still like the idea of the reflec though.
