I think the devs didnt put it in the first place for a reason. It would just create an atmosphere wher the factiosn that purchase these have a bigger advantage over others. Making factions with varium players have a huge edge.
So all in all

@Latin, This has sliped my mind quite a few times (See all these guys are thinking about is varium, the booster doesn't have to be varium, it can be credit) Long Story Short, I Support this.

there are currently type of boosts that costs credits, why would influence be the first?

all this is gonna do is cause the same problems we had in the infernal war.

yes the wars really screwed it up, new factions that played a month or 2 were catching up to lvl 12 factions made in beta, it was crazy.

And since players have choice of Credits now for items - thus saving Varium - as well as top factions being hardcore players, Influence would come in like crazy but likewise with newer factions. Those without Varium would fall behind even more.

anyone spending var like before and is hardcore active, they will have plenty of var for token boosts/exp boost/ credit boosts etc.
