Delay Omega, Good or Bad? (Full Version)

Mysterion. -> Delay Omega, Good or Bad? (12/12/2012 0:55:48)

Well, as much as i would have loved to see Omega this Friday.
I can only think of up-sides and not really much down-sides:.

Up sides:
- Additional week to get the Perma Rare's.
- Additional week to save more credits for Omega weps.
- More time to spent in the upcoming war (Vacation starts on 21th of december here in The Netherlands, also im not sure there is a war but someone said it will).
- The 'Are You Yeti?' shirt will arrive before the Christmas event, so you can immediatly upgrade your Yeti's. (Im not sure they will be available till Omega releases).


Down sides
None i can think of.

So guys, do you think its bad or even better for us?

good due to the fact they wanna include as much as possible as well as get rid of as many bugs and glitches as possible. :)

@T.600 over exaggerating much? i am a old player and i have lots of patience, 1 more week isn't going to kill you unless you are one of those mayflies that dies within a week.

See her is the issue...


EpicDuel doesn't always delay releases....but when they do....its always more than 1 week. (:O)


I hope this isn't the case here, but every phase release since Beta has experienced more than 1 date change. In fact, I think Gamma had 4 total dates it was supposed to be released, and similarly Delta had 3. I'm not trying to be a downer here, but I have come to expect the worst and hope for the best with this game...and I think rightfully so (I mean look at the record people).


So do I think the delay is a good thing? I could care less. Do I think Omega will be the 20th? Nope. A week later? Maybe. The week after the week later. Probably.

If that upsets you, then this delay is definitely a bad thing, but if you want Delta for another 3 weeks, then you are in luck.

@trizzcentrino Huh? I didn't complain about anything. Waiting 1 week doesn't kill me - I'm just clarifying what T600 meant because you were confused. Here's your quote:

@above lol im not confused, it was a rhetorical question XD. and i know you didnt complain, i was just repeating my point. and really how does 1 more week deter excited older players? it would be better to release late and have everything workout than to release early and cause chaos ingame....even though i like a little chaos :P

@above MODs only moderates the players ingame and they don't actually increase the progress of the devs for omega phase.

lol 6 mods is enough for testing, because they can represent the 6 classes, we currently have more than 6 mods

Come on guys (People who want Omega to be this week).......
Do you want Omega to be a rushed job?
I wouldn't think so, I would rather have 'Good work' into it rather then a rushed job as:

Cons:
More lags
Some bits not done
More Bugs
More Glitches
Lags within game
Battles not counting
Graphics may not be done
Connection lost
Alot of people may not play because of this Outrageous lag

Pros:
Everyone will love the Update if it is good
Everyone will have a great time without no lags
Less bugs
Less glitches
Less lag
Everything done
You can farm for credits for another week ( I don't because I normally play 2v2)
Farm points to get Omega Promo(Or at least somewhere around 2,500 varium so you can buy it from the shop).
Get any of the rares before it goes
Get the snork armor before it goes
Have fun in the Community with ED.
Have fun in-game etc. battling, going to Epic -->Central Station --->World 7
Have fun with the last moments of 'Delta'
Get the Permanent-Rares before it goes (Delta knight which is the best design. Thanks Reki!)
Get as much tokens as possible so you could get 'Frost Warrior' etc.
If you was going to buy a late promotional package like me, your lucky becase its next week (I was going to get 10k varium next week instead of this weeks update, which will not be happening)
Beta people can get back on there feet (getting use to the game modes)
New model battles
New classes (Classes will be revamped)
Better graphics
Less of a Connecction lost
Battles will count if update fully launched
There will be less lag once all of those weapons that Titan said that will be gone.
The game will be fair
Most of our Holdiays will be next week so we all have more time to play.
An Epic battle between Exile vs Legion
More missions within the update (I hope i am right. Looking foward to the missions)
Destroying or Conquering on what ever we have to do in the update.
We will have fun in Omega if everything is fresh
Meet new people in Omega (I think in my opinion alot of people will come back to the game, which means more friends. YEY!)
And have a new Beggining in Omega :)
