She heals some SP per turn.
At the start of battle, she enters the Living Shadow Stance*. This doubles her Attributes and gives her +10 to each Combat Defence. The stance lasts until you hit her**.
Once per turn, when one of your attacks misses (including from a pet/guest), then she takes one of your potions and drinks it.*** If you have no potions, then she heals slightly†.
Her normal attack can damage either your SP††† or (if you're not using SP) your MP†† or (if you're not using MP) your HP. If your MP‡‡ or SP‡‡‡ is reduced to 0 by this, then she can set up Disharmony of Yin or Disharmony of Yang.
She can spend 460 MP to deal a more powerful version of her original attack if she has enough MP, or spend 160 MP for a weaker attack otherwise.
She can spend 532 SP to do one of the following attacks:
Her "Dual Katanas" attack also damages your MP. If your MP is reduced by 0 by this, then she either sets up Disharmony of Yang‡‡, or performs an additional hit of high damage& if it's already set up.
Her "Darkness Aura" attack also damages your SP. If your SP is reduced to 0 by this, then she either sets up Disharmony of Yin‡‡‡, or performs an additional hit of high damage&&, if it's already set up.
Disharmony of Yin decreases the damage you deal. Disharmony of Yang increases the damage she deals.
When hit, she heals HP equal to half the damage dealt (maximum of half her current MP), and loses MP equal to twice the amount healed&&&.
When defeated, you can take the Shadow Mistress' Katana as a temporary weapon.
