Hun Kingq -> Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/24/2012 13:03:08)

A new debuff skill is needed and the Blood Mage would fit perfectly with this skill to replace intimidation.

Parasite: Strike and weaken an enemy by reducing their percentage of total stat (including weapon bonus) during combat. Seeks out and affects the highest stat.

finally something that sounds like a good idea, but 30% at level 10 is too much it should only be at 25% or 20% max.
and it needs some stat requirements to stop some from abusing it since all other debuff even intimidate has stat requirements.

Mother1 -> RE: Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/24/2012 13:13:29)

Not supported. Once again this idea is extremely OP hun. A debuff that can target any stat as long as it is the highest? This would destroy all builds other then focus builds plus it affects that weapon bonuses as well? Blood mages of any build especially support BM (since this move works with support) would have a field day with this one.

I also have to ask how long would this stay in effect? You never mentioned that in this idea and I don't want to assume that it will last the entire duel because if that is the cause then it is more of a reason not for me to support this idea.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/24/2012 13:18:14)

@above it wouldn't be that OP if he accepts our comments and adjusts the %, some stat requirements should help so it would be close to impossible to abuse it with support. it should last 3 turns like all other debuff and have a energy cost like all other debuff, intimidate is OP on blood mages currently.

Mother1 -> RE: Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/24/2012 13:36:42)

@ Trizz

He never mentioned those in the move which were some of the reasons I called it OP. But now that I think about it this attack is also random like the pyro fly special since it attacks the highest stat, and at the same time may not be very useful to someone depending on build. So I will take back the part where I said it would destroy all builds other then focus but the rest still feels OP.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/24/2012 14:15:12)

@above yeah, he should have changed his post to match the expectation of others, but his stubbornness prevents him from doing it. still it can't be any worse from the current intimidate.

ND Mallet -> RE: Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/24/2012 17:52:40)

The fact that it stat seeks is what makes it OPd. If a build has a higher stat then the rest and it's a good deal larger then it's beneficial to that build. Intimidate works great against Str builds. Malf works great against tech builds. Smokescreen works great against dex builds. Now imagine having all three in one tree but only being able to use the one most useful in that battle.

Hun Kingq -> RE: Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/24/2012 20:04:02)

Mother1, The effect will be as long as the other debuff skill to keep it to the standard.

The ND Mallet Guy, not like smokescreen or malfunction does not increase the damage just debuffs the stat, weapon bonus, and bot damage if total tech is the highest. So if it is strength is the highest than the strength stat and any equipment (sidearm or primary) will be affected.

Too many times I used max level intimation on strength abusing players that skill have failed they got damage as if I never used Intimidation.

This is what you would call an A.I. debuff skill

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Parasite(Blood Mage New Debuff Skill) (12/25/2012 7:06:36)

then that shows you do not know how to use intimidare properly.
but i personally think a debuff to support would be good, but it still might be OP because lots of skills improve with support, the devs will do something about new skills and it isn't our concern.

Were they using Aux or non-Str based skills? I'm not trolling, I'm being serious. My Intimidate takes away -39 Strength and I do see the difference in damage when I use it so either they weren't using Primary/Gun/Str-based skills or you calculated something wrong.

Firstl AI is a noun, not to be an adjective
Anyways, what'd you do? Intimidate a support build. I guess this skills does the thinking for you?
