Ok, these are some older suggestions of mine, but since the original suggestion thread has since been closed and Omega seems appropriate, I'll share them once again.

Deflect (Armor Passive Skill) :: Adds up to 10% to user's Deflection Chance. Able to break the 25% limit, increasing it to a 35% ceiling.
Diffract (Auxiliary Passive Skill) :: Ignores up to 10% of target's Deflection Chance. Provides a counterbalance to the Deflect skill.

My initial idea for these skills (augmentations) is to make them upgradable with each level increasing the % chance by 1 until the Maximum is reached. However, if that is not how equipment skills will work in Omega, that part can be omitted entirely and all skills would come maxed out.

NOTE: A similar set of skills could be made for all other % Chances to allow for more precise and balanced customization.

Agreed This is a great idea, but i just hope the diffract might work for the sidearms as well :)

^Yeah, I totally forgot about sidearms. Thanks for pointing it out. For strategic/tactical and balance purposes, it could be equipped to one of the two since some players rely on Auxiliary and others rely on Sidearms.

Deflect and Block should be stats on armors anyway, so i like this idea.
