Game Update v0.5.41

  • F2P Xmas Fiend in town lobby. The first F2P Legendary Character! Just Talk to Santa Warlic by the Xmas Tree!
  • Jack Frost's Master is in the Character shop but can also be captured in the wild! He has ranks Apprentice, Veteran and Master!

    Coming Soon!

  • Friends List!
  • Customizable Card Decks!
  • Random Encounters on Map!

    Note:

  • Make sure you clear your cache. Verify that your game client says v0.5.41 in the lower right corner of the login screen!

    Nope and last I checked around half an hour ago after I found him, I still got the dreaded 14.

    Just saw that X-mas Fiend got freeze aswell now :oNow he is truly a powerful F2P legendary.

    sounds rather annoying if you ask me, especially if you need to traverse a lot of ground. Maybe in special dungeon maps, but please not everywhere.

    I'm fine with that aslong it isn't 99.9% enemy who puts up 15+ shields every turn.

    A flee button would be greatly appreciated. Saves time compared to refresh farming.

    If a flee button were to be introduced, attaching a cost to it in the form of secondary currency would undo the game. It's neither practical nor feasible.

    Why should a flee button even cost anything? Does it make sense to pay when you can simply refresh?

    Refreshing costs time, some people will be willing to pay since it saves that little bit of time.

    It could possibly work, but not right now given that players don't all have an abundance of gold! :P

    What exactly do they mean by "random encounters on map"? Like going through the grass in Pokemon and having wild encounters? e.e

    Yes, but if it cost 50G for everytime, then most will just "refresh". Getting 50G is somewhat hard, and paying that everytime can turn expensive.

    And it wouldn't be 50G, anyway, that's a fairly large sum to pay out.

    The reason why AQ has a SP cost on runs is to prevent players from constantly fleeing. That affects the server when people constantly refresh or flee from battles which is why there is a cost associated with it in AQ. Nulgath already stated that refreshing constantly will get you a punishment in-game, I believe he said an account lockout but I can't recall exactly what it was.
