It would be very logical and people would get their money's worth if there was an option to buy their items back. It would be just like buying any other weapon, but it would be only available to select people that payed money towards the game and would still be "rare". This feature would influence everyone positively and it doesn't make sense how people would think so negatively on the idea.

@above eh no, promo are already for varium only, and if it is available for those who paid varium then whats even rare about them? any varium player can get it any time they want.

this feature would only have positive influence on those who sold their promos/rares on purpose, and it would make those players thats wise enough to keep their promos/rares disappointed.

plus it would take ages for the devs to implement(which would never ever happen) they need to go through all the databases of all the varium players who got different promo items and add them to the shop only accessible by the said player, it would take their developing time for everyone's benefit out and doing something that is completely unnecessary that only benefits those players that regret selling their items.

People that kept their promos won't have to pay to have the item, but players that already sold it will have to pay a lot of currency to repossess the item that they purchased.(This only applies for the gear that players spent $ directly for/promotional items that came with varium packages). It's easier than you would assume to implement this. AQW has done it in the Book of Lore. It would be nice to have it in my opinion. It would be like a thank you to those that supported ED financially. A lot of players will be thankful for this function.

Even so it still counts a buying a promo that is supposed to be out of the game even if you brought it before. It would still devalue old rare promos if anyone who had purchased an old promo can get it anything they wanted just because they brought it.

Plus AQW and ED are two different games run by two sets of different staff. AQW also has a lot more staff then ED does as well.

lol it is a completely different system, AQW's book of lore shop includes the items depend on what membership package you bought and you need to be member to use some items in it(alot of players won't be thankful if membership is implemented in ED) and with this system the ED DEVS need to check what promo item each player has bought and make it available to them, it would take ages considering of how much varium player ED has.

It would take ages, but it would be much appreciated. There are also Adventure Coin promos and such that NonMembers could use. I was referring to those. You have some valid points that are the "kinks" I referred to in the 1st post. I would really like to see this feature, sorry if I came off somehow offensive, it's just that I would really like this feature to be implemented :)

If they have a record on every purchase made it shouldn't be too difficult.

Once more, I thought that the devs promised all of the players that rares will not be buffed. Basically their new upgrade system in Omega will be breaking that promise.

No, that's another thing. Buffing rares is Devs manually adjusting their stats to make them better. They broke T&C to give players a refund of Varium and Credits and that's fine. :I

From a principle standpoint. Everyone saying,"Not supported. Go chew on broken glass." is saying that they don't support ED keeping to their own promises/guidelines(T&C). In Omega with skill cores all the weps will be the same value-wise, eventually(if promo skill cores will be movable). Because of this I see no problem with ED returning promos that were purchased. I personally think that ED saying promising us that promos weps will not be upgraded is an act of disregard toward their paying players. If you are the small percentage that kept the promos than you are lucky, you won't have to pay varium(never creds) for the item again(if my proposal is passed).

Only my opinion, which is apparently ______(fill in with your imagination).

Willendorf: I agree with trizz. It's your fault for selling it in the first place, you shouldn't be complaining:

Reply: I sold it because the devs promised it was never going to be buffed. I'm complaining because devs broke their promise.
