TalkToMuchFor2Long -> No need of buying weapons? (12/30/2012 22:11:19)

Im wondering if all weapons will have the same stats and damage when they are fully upgraded?

I think that they should make every weapon different so the game becomes more challenging, its not fun when everyone has the same stats and damage on their weapons.
what u think?

For a F2P most likely not but Varium users should still get something in the promos for them to spend money on which may mean different gear. Maybe F2P's will get something to make us want to switch gear as well but hey you never know

Upgrade cost. Special abilities. Unique/limited items. Art.

I don't think that everyone will use the same build, so you don't have to worry about everyone having the same stats. They can shift the stats around, so they'll just have the same amount of stats.

ur going to fail -> RE: No need of buying weapons? (12/31/2012 17:05:55)

There will be a huge demand trol.

DERANGING STATS ON A WEAPONS COSTS CREDITS. And will not be cheap.

People will have probably 3-4 sets w/ diff. stats on each set 4 a diff. build. Consistently redistributing your stats on a weapon for every single retrain will make you BANKRUPT. Think about how many times you retrain.

If it's anything like the current enhancement system, restating a weapon won't cost anything.

If that's the case, I doubt people will use more than one set of weapons ever unless a new weapon has an exclusive skill.

I believe it costs to restat your items. Which it should.

So the build creativity freedom that has been shouted so loud about is actually flushed down the drain.

This is a major disappointment.

Now I wish Omega was launched early, although full of bugs.

At least I would have been extremely excited for a while.

But then they wouldn't have tricked me into blindly buying the golden yeti ticket 10k pack.

Nice win, Epicduel.

Drianx in every DN that showed restating items and even the youtube video it showed a cost so they was shouted just as loud as creative freedom

@above
Well I couldn't tell if that was restating or the initial, post-upgrade, stating.
Enhancements cost too, but only when initially purchased. Reallocation does not.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNAVpqH3ThM it has a small charge in the video we are talking 200 credits small which is less than a retrain but restating all your gear is the cost of two retrains so be smart from what this video shows

Drianx -> RE: No need of buying weapons? (1/1/2013 16:46:18)

^
I haven't seen that movie before. That pricing looks reasonable enough.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: No need of buying weapons? (1/1/2013 16:57:31)

Fair point I spent like five minutes just looking for that video it wasn't even on the ED facebook page but TBH expect all prices to change as the devs finalize their work on Omega

ninjatom -> RE: No need of buying weapons? (1/1/2013 18:08:36)

I hope this means we can use apprentice staff as a level 35 weapon if we upgrade it enough [;)]

xGreen Warriorx -> RE: No need of buying weapons? (1/1/2013 18:56:51)

^ Yup, you can. It'll be expensive though.

I'm definitely going to keep buying new weapons, for the variety, and if I ever change class I might need all new stuff because you can't switch energy and physical.
(Ex: I'm a CH right now, If I switch to BM I'll need physical claws for a build using massacre/str with smoke and a physical aux for any supp builds I might want to use, and then I would want an energy sidearm so I still had an energy attack.)
