The only thing I see as being overpowered on a bh is bloodlust. Yes there is a counter to every build so I don't see smoke and massacre as extremely overpowered because all you need is to take away some energy.

Mhh... i have already talked about this, but you did not take in account their FAST RAGE. I am meaning the rage system is wrong.. A hunter with just 40 support gets faster rage after the overpowered massacre gets rage in 3 turns, much faster than a mercenary with lvl 8 or 9 adrenaline, that doesnt sound fair to me... That s why i dont play 1 vs 1 anymore, lack of originality with the builds, i have done builds to counterstrike strenght bounty hunters but the weapon damage in itself does all the work for them... I have a tm and a focus hunter too and they cant counterstrike a massacre...

Strength Bounty Hunters lose to Focus Blood Mages 90% of the time. There's no way we can keep up with reflex boost AND intimidate AND tank level defenses while the opponent does insane sidearm and bot damage. The thing about the smoke/mass build is its very simple and thus easy to counter. If we're that invincible just get a +30 DM or a +50 Reflex Boost. Shut us down.

Blood Lust has nothing to do with it When you deal weak damage , it's too minimal ; on the other hand , it gives high HP when higher damage dealt , but it's actually EP that's making it quite OPed .
