@basic, Nulgath was talking about how every character was equal, and when Card Customization comes out you will have access to all the cards :3

But that would technically mean that our characters won't matter anymore if we can have any card in any deck and then this'll turn into AQW 2.0 where the only thing that differs is looks... I really hope that won't be the case. I hope that at least there will be some sort of restrictions based on the original element of the character...

i was thinking..power flow could be a devastating..attack..
i f a electric and water character came out.With charge + powerflow each hit gains +1 damage so it would do 20
you could have up to 3 charges..so if it would add up to 35 damage or so..
i hope that isn't how it will work..though i kinda hope it does..

Lord Athor: No matter what Nulgath does with these there's gonna be issues. Allow all chars to use all Elements? You get AQW 2.0 and overpowered chars. Lock it to one element? OP for Nuteral chars and lack of vareity. No matter what Nulgath does there's gonna be issues, so Nulgath has to pick the lesser of two ebils.

That or what about locking a set number of cards for each character and have a certain point quota. Each card has a different value (1 attacks are worth little, 5 attacks cost high, ect) and put in such a way where you can't just fill your character with all 5 attacks. There must also be a minimum number of cards so that you can't have a deck where every time you draw a card, it's the same card you just used up.

true, unless we're only allowed to use cards within the characters own element there will be issues. What I do think would be good, though requiring some bit of coding, would be to have one Affinity Element (the original one) and then you could choose cards from the adjacent elements to the Affinity one. All other elements would be unavailable and for Neutral characters you could only choose cards from two elements of your choise, though with a restriction in the number of cards to balance the versatility. It's not a perfect solution, then again I doubt there is one unless we're restricted to only cards within the same element as the character or a restriction in what cards can be chosen as crossover cards.

that could work too, either on its own or in concert with element affinity restrictions. It would then also make sense that Apprentice characters get one number of points, Veterans a higher number and so on so that Legendary characters stay the strongest.



On another note I hope that when they do make alignment available that it won't just be decided by one choise like in AQW but through our actions in adventures as it should be, so that in order to be Good we have to do good deeds and in order to be Evil we'll have to do despicable acts of cruelty.

Athor: Good news: Alligenment is intended so that if you fight evil chars you become good alligment and vice versa.

Bad news: Wild cards. Wild Cards (if they are still happening) throw EVERYTHING into madness. Although I like that.

But then they'll have to install a way for us to skip battles so that we won't have to fight Evil characters if we want to stay Evil and vice versa... I'd rather have it so that we become our in-game choises when it comes to stories (save the village and have a harder quest and a greater reward or let it be collateral damage and get an easier quest for example) than merely through who we fight but that's better than just making a chose and then go around shouting "Long Unlive the Shadowscythe"....

or maybe you choose your aligment, for example: you choose good so only ebil characters show, and vise-versa

I hope that quests give us exp to level up [:)]

How do you guys think quests are going to be, like DF, MQ quests or like AQW quests?

Doesn't it make sense that with card customisation you wouldn't be able to use higher tier cards (legendary) with lesser evolutions like apprentices or veterans. That would defeat the purpose of evolving anything.
