skill cores should be special in epicduel, these are one of the few things that I suggest would be good varium perks as well, here's my idea

Skill Core types:

Offensive
Time Lap-the longer this type of skill is not used, the more powerful it will be
Chaos-multiple effects but random outcome of this skill
Binding-adds damage/effects to a character skill (so press this skill then press your skill)
Scoundrel-reduces character timer, effect added (so they will have to choose quickly, all about psychological warfare [:)])
Looping-after this skill is used a number of times, a secondary effect is put place
Risk-places a cost for offensive benefit

Defensive
Core-increases core stats briefly
Reign-increases character turn timer (gives you more time to think)
Wrath-places a cost for defensive benefit
Locking-locks up 1 skill (only 1 so it won't be over powered) but must be used after a stipulation (such as after they use this skill, you can lock it up)
Embrace-2v2 specialty, next attack will be aimed for you, not your partner, buff is placed on them afterwards
Pride-2v2 specialty, next attack for your partner! not you, buff is placed on you afterwards
Tanker-increases overall defenses


Neutral
Summoning-like bots except they stay with you for the entire battle, just press the skill and let them do your own thing
Stacking-stacks up a number amount of skill counters
Charging-increases more than 1 stat
Release-releases those counters of stacking for a bonus

now the skills I made:

Chaos:Time Ticker after the skill is used, it will count each turn your opponent takes, after 3 turns, 3 random effects happen 1, you gain a 10% damage buff 1 turn, 2. they lose 20% damage for 2 turns, 3. opponent takes damage 15% of your weapon damage

Risk:Glass-Explosivegives your a 30% damage buff but you take in 25% more damage, last 2 turns

Wrath:Deal with the Devilgives a 20% resistance/defense boost, but you lose 20% damage, last 3 turns

Pride:Cowardice next attack is aimed at your partner instead if it's aimed at you, decrease your damage and increaseyour partners damage by 5% afterwards

Embrace:Couragenext attack is aimed at you, increase defense/resistance by 5% for both you and your partner afterwards

Scoundrel: Brain Damage reduces character turn timer by half, they than gain a 5% defense/resistance buff

Stacking:Core of Heaven strike your opponent, adds 1 heaven stack, adds 2 tacks if the attack is a crit, max of 5 stacks

Release:Wrath of Heaven1 stack, inflict 50% weapon damage +10% bleed, 2 stacks inflict 70% weapon damage +10% bleed, 3 stacks inflict 90% weapon damage +15% bleed, 4 stacks inflict 110% weapon damage +20% bleed+10% damage buff+10% crit chance+10% hp pool (10 turns) -10% mana pool (5 turns) (good one eh? makes the last stack worth it)

Tanker:God Modeincrease all stats by 10% for 2 turns, only can be used once per battle

Summoning:Army of DARKNESSsummon hell fiends that attack your opponent at the end of each of your turn

Locking:Titans Willthe last skill your opponent has used will be locked unusable for the rest of the battle, 10% debuff to mana pool on you after wards

Time Lap:Blade of Nightwraithinitial damage 90%, after each of your turn, damage increase by 5%, for a maximum of 150% weapon damage (or whatever damage) inflicted to your opponent

Core: Charfades charmincrease health & pool by 10%, increase crit chance by 8%

some of these may not work during OMEGA since I have no clue how stats will work there, the ED staff can fiddle will a few effects but I prefer if the effects I suggested are use, I appreciate your ideas on this, please comment and constructively criticize
