Not the ability to dual wield the current Greatswords that we have, but a new category, that has less damage and stats than swords, but a space for 1 extra Active skill core.

Interesting, I assume it would be used for more skill/aux based builds that require more strategy then the majority we currently encounter. Since this favors the builds that needs more than striking 30+ damage, I fully support.

I like this too, actuality it would be cool if the recent new classes (Cyberhunter , blood mage and T. Merc ) could have their own set of class specific weapons ( like blood mages having SCYTHES which resemble a bit staffs).

Though, it feels like it would require do redo a lot of stuff in the game. [&:]

I also agree with scythes. Perhaps each class should have a third weapon that has lower stats, but with an extra active core.

Mercenaries / TLM: Pickaxe (Mercenaries were miners)
Tech / Blood Mage: Scythe
Bounty / Cyber Hunter: Dual Swords

Pickaxes sound pretty lame...
How about just using regular axes.

^Looks like a glorified stick to me. My opinion stands.
Axes would also have more diversity in terms of looks. A lot of the current "clubs" are actually axes too.

Not sure, it would have to be tested and tweaked on the dev server to find out what would cause them to be equal overall to their counterparts once the extra core has been taken into consideration.

EDIT: Actually i agree with axes, i was just being a smartass :P

Supported. Just remember that all class can use swords and some specials like Massacre needs something like dual swords or blades

Actually, with the engine revamp that's happening, it is most likely that skills are going to have support for alternative animations, so they can create a separate animation for when you mass with two swords, since the current animation wouldn't really work.
