Problem: If you're a weak level 26-29 who doesn't have a good set and doesn't understand the battle engine (i.e. has really low hp or nonsensical build) you have literally no chance of winning in juggernaut even if you have a good partner. In 2v2 weak players can often scrape a win, but in Juggernaut if either player is incompetent its a guaranteed loss for both of them.

@ giras

And that is a major problem. Anyone who actually read the tutorial of the game will know that at a certain point they will run into juggernauts. Yet at the same time knowing this some don't get the gear needed to stand a chance knowing they will run into jugs and at the same time complain when they can't win against jugs. You are under equipped and know you will be running into jugs yet you won't buy better gear or do 1 vs 1 until you can get better gear. That is no fault of the jug is it?

Giras Wolfe -> RE: Juggernaut: Problems vs Solutions (1/13/2013 16:11:09)

The REAL problem with juggernaut is that it pits fully experienced level cap players with fully optimized builds against people still figuring out the battle mechanic. Just look at todays juggernaut win boards. Most of the players have 85-95% win rates. That means if you goes up against an experienced juggernaut there is a one in ten chance of beating that player.

How is that fair?

Its discouraging and downright mean to new epicduel players, which is exactly the opposite of what we want if we want epicduel's player base to grow.

ND Mallet -> RE: Juggernaut: Problems vs Solutions (1/13/2013 16:13:57)

The main problem is the lack of tutorial at low levels(which the staff are working on, it's on their "Scary Town" list I believe) and the fact that credits are tight(NPCs giving only credits in Omega will help greatly)

@ ND Mallet

Even with the tutorials think about it do you think the masses would want to have to battle an opponent that vastly more powerful then them, and stand no chance of winning? I think not. If that wasn't the case we wouldn't have many new posters in the forums complaining about this mode. I don't know how many times I have read "Made a button so I can choose when I want to fight Jugs, or remove the Jug mode completely So I can have peace" Thing come up.

Xendran -> RE: Juggernaut: Problems vs Solutions (1/13/2013 17:13:37)

Like i've said before, this game is designed for core gamers, not casuals.
If a proper in depth tutorial for this game is put into place, then the only thing that needs to be fixed with juggernaut is balance.
With a proper tutorial, it becomes entirely the players fault if they do not understand game mechanics by the time they can face jugernauts.
