The ability to collaberate with the developers to create game content is something that can be sold for significantly higher prices.
A fairly popular rising ARPG, for example, has the baility to collaberate with the developers to create a Unique tiered item inside of their $1000 diamond pack.

From what I understand, ur trying to suggest a promo pack worth of $1000 ??? Or more than 5 keys ??

I am suggesting that they add vairum packs above 50$ , and that keys can go well above 5, with more varied options, such as merchandise, collaborations, digital soundtrack downloads (when ED has one), digital artwork, artbooks, etc.

NOTE: Not all of these are things that are worthy of the $50+ packs. A digital soundtrack would probably be 2-3 keys, whereas having an ED Poster and art book shipped out to you would require more.
This also gives more incentive to buy varium. Buy a $100 varium pack and get yourself an ED Poster and Soundtrack CD shipped to you, for exmaple. (EXAMPLE. NOT SET IN STONE. DO NOT COMMENT ON THIS PRICE EXMAPLE SAYING IT IS TOO HIGH/LOW.)

NOTE 2: Unfortunately, you would most likely have to pay some extra artix points for international shipping.

I remember reading a post with nightwrath saying that the key system is going bye bye when omega comes. So this idea wouldn't do much good since there won't be a key system anymore.

Not really, it doesn't have to be done with keys. It can just be done with packs.

Here is an example. I've censored the games name, just in case AE considers it advertising.
But as you can see, even things that don't require much extra costs (like a digital download of HQ nightwraith art) can really encourage users to buy varium, but higher packages can include things that require actual money, because of the fact that varium is a virtual currency.

I dont think thats really needed.
I also dont know which game that is but this is a game supposed to be for children.

50 is already high for children so a package of 250 is way too high.
Some children already ignore there parents and buy var without permission. And then its only 50.
Imagine they spend 250 from there parenta money o.O.

(Im not one of those, im 19 and earn my own money, just in case you thought i was like that).

So, not supported. The amounts are simply too high.

I don't think a post apocalyptic game with lines like "I hope your not allergic to mercury" in it is designed for children.
This game was actually intended for late teens, it just happens that being associated with AE also brings in their younger demographic.
Due to AE having many other games more suitable for children, epicduel and oversoul are where you're going to start seeing more mature things, including advanced payment options.

This is fraud, and their parents will notice. They will have their accounts banned, and a VERY hard spanking from their parents.

Almost everything outside of the core combat system isn't needed. This is never a valid point unless it's something completely absurd and off the wall.

Again, a perfect exmaple of somebody paying attention only to a single irelevant number, isntead of an idea. Please only post constructive criticism and comments.

@above its not a single number, its a 3-4 digit number you are talking about. AE has already got merchandises for people to order, the current system is fine as it is. this idea is unnecessary in my opinion, it would be a waste of time and effort, no one would get them unless they are millionaires, the price is ridiculously high and the reward isn't worth that much.

Trizz, you jsut proved my point. You have absolutely ZERO idea what the devs would price these things at, so you're focusing on an irelevant point, which are those high numbers.
Things like a digital download would be a very cheap thing, by the way.

Also, if nobody buys these things, explain how GGG, a tiny indy dev that has only been around for about 15% as long as AE, has sold 150 diamond packs so far, and a MASSIVE amount of supporters at gold and below.

@above it would still be a waste of time and effort, your idea already exists with a little change to it, basically you are saying that you can buy the merchandises with artix points in the same package as the varium ones, sorry but not supported .

first you need to findout how much packages in total have been sold by AE to prove that this would make more money than the $50-$60 packages we have now. or else we can't agree with you on this, it sounds very unnecessary in my opinion.

The 50 dollar and below packages woudl still be here, and the things that are being awarded (Such as a digital download and other things) wouldn't even need to be handled by the devs, but rather the merch department.

Some of it is already avialable anyway, the yeti T-Shirt could be thrown into a $50+Shipping varium package, for example.
