That was an easy match, you should play in dungeon with earth nomad..

I play the same way, no difference at all ... and u still find it easy???(not talking about the match with the bat) hmmmm :S

Outside souls r not that hard, then the dungeon souls ..

I wish OS combat system will be like MQ combat.

@Basic
We do have disadvantage when it comes to lower level. Some of the characters like Fire witch have this fireball card, if she used it when we are lower level, we are goners. So i think players should always have initiative. I ask for nothing much. Only initiative and increase in exp and gold other the improved AI was just created to torture the players.

Anyway, here's that cast I told ya guys about. It's me vs Earth nomad in the dungeon and wow was I lucky to get away with 1 hp. Wish my audio were a lot clearer, but I guess I should just save up for a better mic.

I don't think its good to force players to play only the hard mode, they should be able to choose the mode of difficulty, depends on the server you choose. The hard mode gives more XP/Credits and the easy mode Gives less XP/Credits, You choose ??

@Kyle: I actually pointed that down a split second before the earth nomad showed up and I literally face palmed. XD

@Soul: Well seeing as this is the first time they released advanced AI, I'm assuming the staff are still testing the waters. I'm sure AI options will be available soon.

Soul prisoner: I can see a point in waiting till such things as Elements are added, and I will not dispute that you are probably right in this. But nonetheless, soon such battles will be much easier for the readons I stated.

Also, it's unlikely it will be removed. You see, how coding works is complex, and assuming Rolith has utterly replaced the Ai rather then merely upgrade the old one, then it would be literaly impossible to go back to the old one. And it's onlikely Rolith would keep old cluttered code.[;)]

I doubt it was supposed to be this hard SOuL, the dungeon seems intentionally hard so new players can train a bit before going on their first quest. The outside is much easier like you said, its annoying but its how the characters are MEANT to be played. You saw my vid too its easy :P

Well, if they halve the exp and gold gained from 'stupid AI', I'm ok with it (kinda, not 100%)

I think Nulgath will give player the choice to choose between easy and hard mode. Hopefully it will be release next week along with friends list.

I really hope so, coz my playing pretty much depends on it, i cant focus only on a single game, i play 2-3 games at once and that's the reason i want the easy mode ..

:v I made a video where I used trainee in the dungeon, and everything went fine.. I even went against a treasure chest which some people were dying to. Link to video. I really don't think the AI is that hard.. it just forces you to play a little bit defensively at times.
