Add a toggle for idle animations in battle. I could play at best fine if it wasn't for those breathing animations casuing everything to slow down.

Midnightsoul -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 1:44:21)

So you mean as in like u just dont see anything really move? Ur opponent just gets dmged?
Well, ok, I dont see why not...so..

Supported? ._.

Xendran -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 2:44:54)

I very clearly said idle animations (breathing). Using a skill is not an idle animation...

Vegafire -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 5:26:45)

The Idle Animation Is breathing constantly moving the pixels on thousands of characters, i see where your coming from xen and i completely agree, if the breathing is removed it will reduce lag within the server slighly maybe greatly but, if you have a poor connection you will still lag.

Supported

Xendran -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 5:29:26)

Vega: This has NOTHING to do with connections at all

Vegafire -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 5:52:20)

but for players thinking this will stop lag, lag is still bassed on connection speed it will just reduce it for those with sufficient connection speeds

King FrostLich -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 6:01:55)

He means the breathing when you use high quality. You can see characters breathe when you battle in high quality. Removing that should reduce the lag.

f4tal1tY -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 6:04:37)

No... @vega what i think that Xendran means is that he has a low frame rate. This means every second he has a low amount of frames that load, which means that his actions still get responded to instantly. Low frame rate is a COMPLETE different matter from lag, which is where your internet connection is bad, or the server is based on a different and far area from yours, and you will experience lag, where anything you do is reacted to by the server slowly, e.g. clicking an ability and taking ages to actually use the ability on your screen! Hope this clear things up for you Vega!

anddddd SUPPORTED :D

Xendran -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 6:29:16)

For reference, i should NOT be getting these abysmal framerates when i have a computer like this.

arthropleura -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 8:47:44)

^nice you got high def audio xD

And support

Vypie -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 9:05:27)

Supported.

I have to drop the quality so the animations cause no lag. And to battle faster.

But watching pixelated characters isn't very appealing to me. It takes all the detail out of the window, and the lines and colors become messed up. I would like to have the Visuals with high quality, but being able to minimize the animations for extra performance.

Lycan. -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 18:59:21)

Supported.

veneeria -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 23:34:51)

Supported, even though i know it is not the main cause of the lag.

Xendran -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 23:36:21)

Veneeria: This thread is not about lag. Framerate is NOT lag. The breathing animations ARE the main cause of low framerates.

Derp.
Though, in normal situations it would be the animations. Filters / gradients influence too, trust me i am an engineer.

Edit: ↓ Okay :)

Xendran -> RE: Performance Increase (1/14/2013 23:54:00)

Edited first post, i wasn't aware that i used the word lag in the OP.

f4tal1tY -> RE: Performance Increase (1/15/2013 5:51:08)

Yeah @xendran that was pretty misleading :P
