Yeah, epicduels active playerbase hasn't actually grown much if at all since gamma. It gets an incline and then a wave of players quit, and it repeats over and over.

Omega should see some exponential growth rates.

Or maybe a negative quadratic:

Possible.

I for one have played once since omega got delayed until January. I also have this problem with recruiting faction members. The members are active for about three months and get me a bunch of influence and all of a sudden only three or four players are regularly on... it kind of sucks, especially with the new low price of factions making sure that every level 15 player can afford to make their own faction...

Delatour -> RE: ok the server numbers (1/17/2013 23:24:53)

They should update delta at least 1 more time now xD but no worries omega will be worth it and they players will all be back

That isn't possible.

It doesn't look good for this game, but what do you expect? This game has been getting worse and worse with each phase. I will never forget beta, it was good but they could've expanded on their original concept and improved. Instead, the devs decided to nerf everything and then place restrictions on our skill tree. In gamma, enhancements were implemented and that made the game even more expensive. Delta was pretty much gamma except with a new name being called "Delta". The Omega phase is pretty much a reiteration of beta phase. I don't see much improvements with this game but hey it's better than nothing.

Not true. taking away NPC's could be a death for many players since many players dont want to affect their score. Personally they shouldnt have left Beta without releasing the things they have now. I am optimstic about the next phase and hoping that the new core system will live up to expectation. The selling point of Epicduel is the simplicity of the game. Without the simplicity of learning and growing as a player, the game wouldnt be successful as it is starting to be. I hope the new core system doesnt mess that up because it might ruin it..
