I suggest removing the weapons level in shops, as they are now.

Instead of it, the player should choose the weapon's level when he purchases it.

For example I want to purchase the Imperial ACP because I love its looks but I'm level 10, and I cannot use it.

If my suggestion comes in place, I will then select the Imperial ACP, then select the level for it as '10', and then make the purchase. I will then receive the weapon with level 10 damage and stats.

This way we will avoid having to pay twice for a weapon, as it happens now with enhancements.

Of course this will lead to weapons being repriced according to looks more than usefulness, but anyway this would help people make a wider choice in weapons.

Read all design notes and watch the videos, items already autoscale to your level in omega, however the further away from the original itemlevel it is, the more expensive the item gets.

I must have missed that information.

However I suggest a different thing.

In the light of expected changes it would be useless for items to have an original level, and they should autoscale without any additional price increase.

Regardless his level, a player should pay the same initial price for an item and nothing more.

This would eliminate the possibility of releasing an item at an undesirable level for any player.

It's like that on purpose, otherwise every weapon is identical. If you want an awesome looking level 30 weapon at level 1, you're going to need to pay accordingly, as higher level gear generally has more aesthetically pleasing or complex artwork.

Basically what I had in mind was to eliminate the possibility of milking money from players by exploiting the item level backdoor.

Like releasing a very appealing item but assigning level 15 for it, so that the vast majority of purchasers would pay extra for it.

I may be paranoid, but after the enhancements experience I see exploits everywhere.

What about promos that will come in varium packs? Will they autoscale automatically or they will have a fixed level? Remember, a promo does not come from a shop where I know it autoscales, but it is just dropped into your inventory instead.

I would hate seeing that Omega weps that will appear in my inventory will be level 15 or something thus require level scaling in exchange for extra money.
