Not sure if I like it than. I like pokémon styled random encounters. Means you can be lucky and get through in 1 go, or get screwed and have 50 encounters before reaching your goal

Finishing important stuff (in this case, my UA Engineering Zone application) seems to bring me good luck! New quest with awesome-looking Rat as (possibly) a boss/reward, possessable DarkonDrago meaning I may have to use ONE SG, which I actually have (hopefully it has no evos that cost SG, but I'll still get it regardless :3), the first additional lobby screen (Sleepy Wolf) and.... Well, I'm not exactly sure what's meant by that new Battle thing either but I'm pretty excited to find out. I was hoping for Friend lists but gotta admit, I love this update. Can't wait for it to go live.

Two things in life are infinite: the universe and the amount of Zubat in caves (Mt. Moon especially), but I'm not entirely sure of the first one.

now, you'll just have a fixed amount of fights in the quest, and every time you go through it, it'll be the same...

Although it would be nice to have an equal balance of both Tall Grass and fixed encounter dungeons.

@Basic: What if each fight was at a fixed location, but with a random monster? Still boring-ish, I agree, but less so.

more like nomads, but who cares? right now, I'd get rats, but I might get luck and avoid them.

Super rare? Rhyhorn was a lot harder to find in caves. Come to think of it, were Rhyhorns even IN first-gen caves? I know they were in GSC's Rock Tunnel, but so was Cubone so... Yeah.

Kangaskhan too, where were they in RBYG?

On-topic, I'm wondering if the battle thing might be we can see each other fighting, but the fights are still 1v1? That wasn't a DF feature but it sounds a bit like it and hey, seems kinda cool.

Let's not start talking about pokémon. I only used it as a reference to the encounter system.
I just want some variety in my quest. Because I know ima do it over 100 times

@so0meone In first gen, Rhyhorn could only be caught in Safari Zone (Except Yellow, where it could be caught at Cerulean Cave- but Yellow was like 1.5 gen) Kangaskhan was also in Safari Zone for Red, Green, and Yellow, but could only be obtained by trading a Rhydon in Blue.

ONTOPIC: It's getting pretty late. What time will the release by, 11 (EST)? x.x
