When Omega comes out and the game is without any bugs and full of all changes (maybe 2-3 weeks after omega launch),
which release do you like to see in the future after omega. I think it will be St.Valentines, maybe, and what do you expect?

Calogero -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 14:52:58)

by the time Omega is out the only Valentine release we'll have is a rerelease of old seasonals if we're lucky

Mother1 -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 15:09:57)

I hope they at least put out frost warrior for those who didn't get a chance to get it. I say this because it should have come out the day they did the pre order promo update.

Xendran -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 15:34:04)

Yeah, im not sure why the halloween achievment is in the shop instead of frost warrior.

The Astral Fury -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 16:22:40)

What do you mean "After Omega", I'm convinced that it will be delayed again (Which it kinda has cause its been more than a month since the second delay on the 20th. It's been more than two months without an acutual release and the delays are crazy how did they think they could release it on the 14 and then wait until the 19th of January (Yes I know things happend), but I'm sorry two months and over without an release is awful. I mean they said they would release it in early January and now the months close to ending. Maybe they could give us a mini release to keep us entertained or elease Omega in parts instead of making us wait more than 2 months for a release and trying to make it in one big sitting.

Hopefully it will be released today, but I guess thats asking too much right?

Mother1@ It's WAY too much for the dev's their working on Omega, even thought it'd take a sec, but no cause there working on Omega they can't do the slightest thing or make a mini release for us (Sarcasm)>

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 18:57:47)

there will not be another delay, omega will release during this month, nightwraith is confident.

Lycan. -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 19:24:36)

^ I dont believe so, i trusted them twice now with Omega release but still they break it.

Mother1 -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 19:25:55)

@ trizz

Well they have 13 days before this month is over. Will they make the deadline or will we be in for another month?

Jekyll -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 19:50:03)

From what has been said on Twitter, and the DNs, I'm prepping myself for a February release. They said compensation news will come soon before Omega itself, but at the moment, no news has been released yet. Furthermore, the lack of a willingness on the part of the developers to give an exact deadline suggests that they are still quite far away; at least these are the vibes I'm getting. I'm really hoping for a January release, but I'm not getting my hopes too high.

ED Prince of Shadows -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 20:11:25)

I wouldn't call it quite yet. They still have a week.

the final hour -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 20:17:51)

id hedge my bets on february for omega being released but honestly if the past is anything to go off regarding delays it cod be march or even july so i wodnt get your hopes up fellas at all

LSJRocks -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 21:50:40)

if the realese is going to come out in july i would probably just leave this game already

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:08:45)

@mother1 yup they will get it done within the 13 days

Nightwraith -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:08:45)

July is probably overshooting it juuuuuuuuuuuust a bit. I know it seems crazy that we could have announced a date for Dec 14th and still be working on it into January, but that's exactly what we've been saying to each since Christmas. I hope after this is released and the dust settles we can make a post about what happened to delay the release by so much. It's not because we're lazy or secretly holding onto a somehow finished Omega. Basically, the features we were trying to build proved to be more complicated that we anticipated, and their interconnected nature meant we couldn't cut anything to speed our development along. It's like when AQW was building a massive feature like PvP, but they had the benefit of the PTR so they could continue weekly releases. Hindsight and all of that.

That said, we're on schedule for a January Omega release. Take that for what it's worth. I imagine there's a betting pool at this point.

I've been predicting past midnight of the 25th, or a delay to 6pm on the 26th this entire time, and i think i'm right :P

T.600 -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:16:10)

^You can't even write DNs everyday, and so far most of the DNs have lacked effort and enthusiasm, especially in contrast to, Cysero's class breakdowns in AQW for example. In addition to this, the fact that there were no DNs during the weekend last week can only imply to me that you don't work on the weekends.

I can't help but say you have created a lazy image of yourselves, despite boasting to work 15+ hours a day on numerous occasions (which is not practical, and only bad for your health).

That leaves an hour of miscellaneous time and 8 hours of sleep. seems healthy enough to me.

King Helios -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:30:46)

^ Driving to work, driving form work, eating...not to mention the eye strain.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:39:09)

@above nightwraith and the devs are not forced to look at the screen all the time, they would eventually walk around and look around.

King Helios -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:40:30)

It is still a solid 11 hours.

willendorf -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:46:17)

They have glasses for the eyestrain. I don't pretend to be a coding guru or anything but when you make an accidental mistake, even something as small as a misplaced period it can screw up your whole program. Completely redoing epicduel would be a long pros, especially with all of with new features they are adding. Working fifteen hours in a day on something that they have had to delay twice despite their best efforts would make for very hard workdays and even if the devs don't work weekends they probably deserve the brake. Even if it's not out until February (as long as they don't give a solid day in January) the devs would have a valid reason for it - but if that happens the omega founders should get some compensation, we paid to get our yetis and weps in January

Stabilis -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 22:53:34)

Well, normally you have a debugger for syntax errors (the "spelling mistake" of the programming world), so before saving or publishing the typed code you can run a third-party or native debugger that will highlight (even fix) all typing deviations.

SouL Prisoner -> RE: After Omega (1/18/2013 23:25:48)

Theirs hardly 2 weeks left and next week is the DN, hmmm i hope they r sure what they r confident about ..

Giras Wolfe -> RE: After Omega (1/19/2013 1:44:19)

I love to see Titan or Nightwraith post in a thread! I'm glad you guys are doing you're best. I love Epicduel and really appreciate what you do!

the final hour -> RE: After Omega (1/19/2013 11:18:15)

@ nightwraith

i actually do understand your point that stuff can go wrong and i mean its quite obvious you wouldnt deliberately delay something for so long its bad for business ( in this case dam near suicidal) and i do have a tiny bit of symphathy (spell check )

however id have alot more if this was the first time in my epic duel "marriage" you'd screwed up hell its like a marriage . never get what you want when you want always giving not getting much back and your forced to complain . women who'd have them ?

that said im glad you commented and made a effort you have my respect for that much .
