Completely ruined,

I enjoyed the cyber hunter class until they made the static based on damage dealt and hence basically lowered the build creativity niche for CHs to STR builds.

Static is in desperate need for a change if they want to fix this class variety IMO.

@above i completely agree with you, they should not have done the big nerf on static charge, all they need to do was lower the % on it, the current successful cyber hunter builds are strength build and support build.

Simple, lower the maximum to 20% thats still 1 hp for every 5 hit, aswell as cancelling it out when Bludge amd Masacre are used? would simply just make it less affective giving other classes a chance?

@vegafire: I once suggested that bloodlust is not activated during certain combos of skills, but maybe I didn't phrase it properly because I was shut down instantly courtesy of mother1 xD

why should there even be blood lust? When I battle a bh 5 levels higher than me and has bl, how is that fair? he hits a ton and regains his health, I like bl, but is it fair to everyone?

I have another idea,


How about if you critical strike, rather then getting a massive amount of hp back from bloodlust.

Make it so blood lust only gives back the damage that would of occurred if it didn't crit.

This means classes with bloodlust that crit dont gain such a massive advantage because not only do thy get a strong crit attack but they also get around double the HP back.



This small blood lust change will help with OP situational occurrences.

Your idea of making bloodlust not work with crits would hurt certain normal builds as well especially when going against extreme tank builds that have 40-50 Defense and resist.

I am suprised you support the old OP static over this one. It's effect was vastly overpowered since it ignored all defenses and would work with your potential damage. In other words no matter what build a cyber hunter went against as long as they had the potential to do x amount of their percent damage they would get that much energy back while hitting something a low as a 3. I remember watching extreme CH tanks go on for 20-25 rounds until luck came and their static was blocked.

Yeah no one truely wants to see the old version of static back unless theyre a ch or planning on turning CH way to OP . On topic blood lust does need nerfing right now but maybe in omega it will sort its selve out. 10hp every hit though as others have said that would actually make it worse on the balance front with some builds .

Don't change the way it's calculated, just reduce the %. Especially in Omega, if HP is nerfed that will fundamentally make reroute less effective and bloodlust more effective so an adjustment will be in order.

I DID NOT SAY BLOOD LUST SHOULD NOT WORK WITH CRITS.


I simply said if you crit you only get back the amount of health you would of got if it didn't crit.

This means BHs dont get back crazy amounts of hp for getting lucky.

They get what back every bit of HP they would of got if they didnt crit.


Its not fair to get awesome strong crit attacks and on top of that double the amount of hp back then what you would of got.


Off topic,

While the old static was OP, at least it allowed build other then STR or Support to get a decent amount of energy back.

Now days CHs are underpowered if they dont go a type of build that gets good energy back from static.

Thus reducing variety.

I dont support the OP old static but im saying, at least it allowed variety in the class.

What I support is a change of static to give decent energy across the build types.

A change to make it a passive or perhaps just make it reroute would do the trick.

But not so oped as to make tanks last insane amount of rounds I agree.

and how would we exactly know what we would have hit? Remember even if you can calculate the range of damage the attack would have hit, remember what the exact number would hit within that range after doing the math is random aka based on luck. Plus depending on the damage and the amount of bloodlust the player has one number can make the difference between gaining 6 health or 7 health, and as well all know there are times 1 health came make or break you in a fight.

Also while this might help stop OP occurrences it will also hurt them if they were to use an attack that does under 100% damage and crit with it. While there are few of these this nerf would hurt the hunter if they were to have used one of these and crit with it.

^ Its easy to caluclate.


Before the battle engine adds the crit bonus on to the attack.

It first adds the blood lust amount and then adds the crit bonus on to the attack.



Yes it will hurt them if they crit,

But that is the point, their crits are to OP if they get a major amount of hp back.

Set a new function for Massacre!
Perhaps a 15% damage to health. That way it ignores BL and CHs finally have at least 1 attack with a hp regen.
Perhaps add in Remorse's idea as well.
As for Smoke Screen I suggest adding a "block rate reduced limit".

^ Great Idea with massacre.


After all the other multi's all have a life-steal effect, this means BH massacre can be lowered to 15%.

And at the same time buff massacre for CH's which is fair because CH's are the only class in the game without a life steal effect.
