ok well i mentioned last year that the merc was way unbalanced and here i am saying it again
dose any one care cause i sure do i spent alot of money on my merc just to have his ass kickd
80 to even 90% of the time why is this well its because of every other class and there skill tree
we mercz need a new skill to help due to the other classes taking our dex tec and even str
wht realy gets to me is when i get beaten by a lvl 33 and the odd 32 so come on epicduel
upgrade us mercz pls

i agree mercs r useable but compared to other classes they r the hardest to use extremely weak tlms have the same problem only rlly effective in jugger OPPOSED to other classes mercs and tlms r extremely weak in 1v1 and difficult in 2v2 . u can use nything in jugger and do well but tlm has a slight edge only place it actually comes good .

fyi u mean underpowered not overpowered xD

Not to be a mini-mod, but I don't think you should swear on the forums.

And also, Merc's aren't weak, they can tank very well, not to mention the all-powerful bunker buster.

Merc's aren't weak in the least. Sure they have no defensive buffs, or energy regain, but they are a powerful class. It is a great class for doing jug fights and is also a good class for fighting tanks as well.

Its a bit UP, especially for non varium, i do just "ok" with my merc, but you have varium, you have more possibilities to make an extreme build like tech abuse or super strenght

I agree, and this some of these people are insane xD
And to argue for TLM, it is very effective in 1v1, slow, but 80-90%+ win rate

As for merc, I agree it does need a buff, if I could, I would replace Blood Commander with Reflex boost

To be honest, i think reflex boost would be almost useless for merc, because they dont have any skill that improves with dex.

Reflex Boost would help, but:

•improves with Support and skill points

•blocking is still probability, only up to 35% without Shadow Arts.

That means max Strength instead of Support.

You gues are soo blind. I am a lv 35 tactical mercenary and my build is for 1v1. I do not heal loop and use the gamma bot and still beat every str hunter and 5 focus blood mage. It is not from the opponent rather than you and how good you can play the class and know what and wheen to use to counter the opponent. If anyone thinks that tactical merc has no strenghts in 1v1 without heal loop or infernal android then I dare you to pm me and challange me in game.

looks like some of you don't know how to use merc properly, mercenaries is a strategic class to use, you can have alot of build options with it, a multi build works just as well, i can tell you that the class is no way near weak, it only seems weak because most don't know how to use it.

Watch once Omega comes, due to them being naturally tanky they dont need much defences, just Hp and enough energy for 1 multi, the rest you pile onto support and with support getting the buff it needs they will do mass damage 2v2 aswell as their aux and also crit %, dont count mercs out just yet ;)

I think the passive rage gain is useful, but not even close compared to the other classes. TM - Reroute, deadly aim TLM - Rerout, Mineral armor, BH - Bloodlust, shadow arts CH - Shadow arts, passive Resistance armor, and BM - Bloodlust, deadly aim

This is probably the most useless passive skill to have, and don't say it's because I don't know how to use it blah blah. You might get an extra rage if you invest a lot of points into this skill and play a long game. But how is this skill even useful to this class, with no defensive buffs to counter debuffs. Please fix the Merc class by removing this terrible skill.

It isn't way underpowered against the other classes but it is a bit underpowered. I think it can use defensive skill :P. To me, I think they can use an skill like defense matrix and bubble shield or just add a rage steal to adrenaline or even a higher rage rate for adrenaline. However not a defensive skill like blood shield (not everybody was a fan). :P Idk....

Merc is not UP...But it's true that it's hard to use tho. However, I'd think the rage-gain skill needs a promote.

@raynie Yes, i know merc have very good builds but in a non varium perspective its very hard to have these abuse builds
