I know how anxious and excited we all are for Omega and the Yeti tournament. And with all Omega is bringing, the new creative builds, cores, and closing gap between varium and non-varium, don't you think it'd be a great time for ED to implement 2v2 where you can choose your partner? I feel this would bring a whole new dimension to the game and bring about a whole new level of strategy, builds, and just so much more fun!

Do you think this could be ED's next big step during Omega? Or do you think we should stay at the status quo? Discuss.

I would like this alot providing it is separate from normal 2v2 and normal 2v2 stays as a normal option.


However the wins and loses should both accumulate in the same figures.


Because choosing your partner does not give an advantage if your opponents also chose their partners.


Also quick thought on how it would work, I would say you have to be between 0-2 level difference between your linked partner, and the total level difference between opponents should be no more then 2.

Having more tightly packed level ranges mean players are less likely to be excluded from invites.

i was never that excited about the yeti tournament not my thing . And with regards to omega i was rlly excited it all sounded good stuff this game needed till abt a month ago began to loose interest its tk far to long sadly .

absolutely its about time they closed the gap its been insanely unfair on the none vars for far too long. and yes i think you should be able to choose your partner in 2v2 assuming their was a way of doing this so all the lower levels didnt just pick people at the gap ( i mean like a 31 picking a 35 i could see issues if that was the case. )

That would mean it would take a lot longer to find a battle than now.

I think partner 2vs2 should count as normal 2vs2 but 2 partner should match with another 2 partner not with solo 2vs2 players.

This would make ED more fun.

Ok I remember this suggestion being made sometime ago, and it is already in the Frequency suggested ideas list as well. As for whether the staff accepted it or rejected it I don't know.

However as for me being able to choose my partner? Sorry but I enjoy thinking on my feet more in two vs two. Plus if I get a lower level partner that makes it all the more fun to me when I do win the match.
