What would you suggest? This is listed in the FSI so it could be a good discussion. It also helps if you say WHY the minigame is recommended.

Being partly a gamer (fine, a large part), I have played games that added minigames to the main plot for a "breather"... a break from the chaos. An example is the Wizards 101 fairground(?) which includes Tetris and assorted games arcade-style. The reason I played there is because it had Bejeweled (very fun) but also because the fairground restored your magic after playing.

it would be great, imagine you can pilot one of the war aircraft to battle, just like space invaders.
even though the game is pvp orientated, i guess it wouldn't hurt to earn credits and maybe XP by winning a mini game.

Blasting people with any of the old weapons that used to give you war kills with extra blood and gore.

^Heheheh sweet idea xD

Maybe a Beta Stage Epicduel Simulator? Where Supercharge hit 3 times and there were only 3 classes! xD

idk about this wouldnt it cause lag ? that said it would be good if you could make a few credits outta it and get a brk from pvp if you were having one of thoose days

It can be "weighted" to have as much of an impact as a battle. For example using made up numbers, a battle has a processing weight of 800mbps (megabytes per second). The minigame that the developers made has a weight of 750mbps. Why does this happen? Both a battle and a minigame use their own share of resources. If a player was to play Connect 4, versus an EpicDuel PVP battle, just imagine the difference. In Connect 4 there are: simple algorithms, a static graphics structure, that is it. In a PVP battle there are: advanced algorithms, dynamic graphics (and animations), multiplayer handling, etc the standards but the difference is

MASSIVE, you should notice considerably less lag/ server stress if a simple minigame were to run in place of a PVP match.

3 hit SC was Alpha and the number of hits didn't mean more power the power came from how the skill worked.

I would like to see something as infuriating as the old arcade, maybe a claw grab type game for prizes with a good chance of getting nothing

Faction games

This would make factions more interesting... The higer the level the faction - the more games

Giras Wolfe -> RE: If EpicDuel had a Minigame... (1/26/2013 22:19:26)

I would suggest epicduel not having minigames.

This isn't Club Penguin, people.

POKER in Epicduel and each match in a poker game, you could bet 20-200 credits.
