@SOuL Prisnor: I'm imagining without it and I see the old days coming back where the game is challenging the way it should be not like in this phase that killing NPCs is just like a free 1v1 win for a player. I hope you get my point or somebody there. lol

I am tired of telling, that was NPCs that GIVE ACHIEVEMENT, here, we r talking about farming NPCs...

NPC's will no longer count to your record so whether you win or lose, why would it matter anyway? Oh wait you want the credits...

Also will boss battles give more credits if defeated?
Not worth farming if it gives the same amound.

I for one am curious how Boss NPCs will be in Omega.

Bosses like the Admin take a lot of effort to beat and that's with today's stats
but after Omega, we won't have that amount of stats anymore not to mention
he'd be carying around an Aux :P

They also need to program NPCs to throw EMPs at Bounty Hunters and Cyber Hunters taking away all their energy to see how it feels.

As well as Atom smash the merc classes to take away all their energy.

After all this I'm really starting to wonder what was going on in their heads when they said the release was gonna be in December. Everything looks really good but I wish they could have like a progress bar on the Ed homepage. Like it would show what left to finish and so that we know what's gonna be released and what we wouldn't like.

^With respect to what you said, I think its just easy for you to say that but not seeing behind the scenes, all of the ED Staff are goin' like close to craziness just to keep on debuggin' and crackin' codes just to make the Omega release one of the best releases ever released.

@rene196: I think it wouldn't waste your time because one of the NPC's major purposes is for testing the player's builds without putting their battle record on risk.

No you will only get credits if you beat the NPC. They did this so people won't bot NPC and gather up the loss rewards without destroying their battle record. It was said in the design notes a while ago

interesting idea but I could say they need to do this will all classes note just the hunter and Merc classes. This would give an unfair advantage to the mage class since they wouldn't get energy drained. It is all or nothing with every classes not this but not that.

Mother1, Those players of those classes need a taste of their own medicine so they could see how it is when they do it to other players they could even program it even further where when they get energy back then they get EMPed or Atom Smashed again making them waste energy boost.

In Omega every point of energy will count and if a class that does not regain energy gets EMPed or Atom smashed every round or every other round or in 2vs2 gets energy drained 4 times wasting 2 boosts that costs credits forcing players not to even consider to use any skills but defensive skills they might as well get rid of any offensive skills in the non energy regain classes.

They want to setup NPCs so you can use them as training then EMP, Atom smasher, smoke, and malfunction need to be included as well but the EMP and Atom Smasher needs to target the hunter and merc classes and drain all their energy just so they could see how annoying it is.

^ maybeh they should get an extra 100 strengh when they face a BM or BH and give them a taste of their own medicine .plus have bludgeon deadly aim and bloodlust

smoke massacre and SA if its a BH
