I find this to be very cruel. I really LOVE this challenge though. All bosses should be like this!

Things I find a bit silly that happened in the game recently: Necro Dungeon Boss area when the boss battle is done weither you won or not you get taken all the way back to the start so you have to go COMPLETELY back through.

Then the pointless nerf on the petrify skill for earth. Why is the animation still a boulder falling on them if it does jack in terms of damage?

Also the bosses are really kinda silly strong. Being able to do 12+ damage on the first round.

The bosses do need a slight nerf so they're winnable without perfect scenarios, I hope the testers realize this...

Let's look at it this way: Take one of the more OP characters in the game the Black Dragon which is suppose to be a pay promo item. That came close and couldn't beat the boss or does with very low HP. How are the free players suppose to take on something like that?

The bosses aren't invincible. You just have to have a strategy going in against them. I got the Fiend without Witchblade, it was just close. And no, it wasn't an ideal scenario, I had a crappy first hand.

Well if you have a high level character, you would have a better chance at defeating them.

Headless Horseman level 12. First hand was just one damage, some shields, and a burn or two. Something like that at least.

@Valeris: I don't want to rain on your parade but I think Vergil Fiend is the weakest boss. Everytime I face it I always take it down to 20 HP or less before losing. Witchblade on the the other hand. . .. on a similar level of Lich lets just say.

It is because his special cards is a DoT and not instant damage like LICH and WB;

I'm honestly calling Bull crap on these bosses. They are plainly cheating. Example: Same move Arch Lich did Shield, a normal attack, then a 5-hit combo.

I lost to the lich with my HH because it was 30 mins after release and I underestimated every boss [X(]

He didn't use the DoT on me. He pulled a 20+ damage combo then proceeded to shield himself up immensely on what could be considered his,"break," turn.

Edit: I remembered because I was overjoyed to pull out two fireballs before realizing one of them would be wasted just taking down that ten shield. :(

@Insane That's not cheating. There is a card which costs 8 charges and does a 5 hit combo and it still can uses normal attacks.

I know the bosses are possible to beat, we've seen it with Weraz's PL and someone elses Earth Golem. So they are possible to beat but as it stands it is just too unfair.
If this is just for the Nightmare Dungeon then I have no qualms about the bosses. This dungeon is designed for the pros, however, at the VERY least something should be done about Lich in the Undead Dungeon.

So they are leaving the bosses alone? No nerfs or anything aside from the boss characters in the shop?

@Livingtime I agree with you, I dont mind how OP the bosses at the nightmare dungeons are, but the Lich over at the undead dungeon should be easier.

How is any of this fair in the slightest or "fun gameplay" ? As much as Nulgath likes to say "I lyk balance!!!!!!!1!!!!" he sure did make some pretty broken and unfair bosses. As much as you guys like to praise him I will continue to say this whole thing is stupid.

@Below At the least I will accept the nightmare ones are suppose to be designed for pros. I will also agree that for the necrodungeon the lich is overkill. Tis a bit silly that you can encounter the rarer undead where he is though. I wish he was in a room by himself like you said.

Looks that way, theres been no mention of other nerfs.

@Insane, consider them Challenge bosses. You read the homepages description of Nightmare dungeon, I find how it is acceptable for the moment. The Undead dungeon Lich however should be either nerfed or moved to a seperate boss room, as it is a challenge boss and the Undead Dungeon isn't a 'Pro Dungeon'

On monday, the only changes will be to the cards of the "Boss" tagged characters in the shop. In the end, there will be three types of both Witchblade and Virgil:
1) The CPU Boss, with the current cards.
2) The Player "Boss", with the same cards, but adjusted costs.
