The new Omega update was a good idea, but the only thing they should have added was the skill cores. They changed the battle system stat system and lowered robot damage way too much. I honestly wish that omega would not have been released in my opinion, I dont think epicduel is a game worth playing anymore.

The phase just started give it a chance. You have more freedom and more flexibility.

Honestly, i am very dissapointed in Omega D:
The health thing is one point where it is no longer 2 points per up and that wasted a lot of my stat points in order to obtain a steady health.
Next is the fact that since all of our weapons are weaker, battles are ending real quickly! What happen to strategy? I feel that anything that reduces our stats such as malf or smoke is basically jus overpowering considering the fact that enhancements are no longer here. When there were enhancements, even with malf, all varium players can still tank enough for them to win even some high levels! I really hope that they can bring back enhancements. To find a build, i have already spent more than 8k varium and still, did not find a build good enough yet. From cyber hunter to tact merc to bh and now back to cyber.
Im not sure about u guys but i feel that us varium players are no different than normal players. No enhancements? Weaker weapons? Even the adjusting of weapon stats can all be done with just 250 credits -.- That is definitely unfair for us varium players as we spend money to be more powerful but in the end, no different from normal players. If they could bring enhancements back, i would definitely feel better with omega but now :/ Sadly to say.. No

This may seem harsh, but that is because you're probably used to abuse stats... However, things will be fine when getting used to it....There are lots of f2ps experiencing it for years already.

I have never abused my stats on epicduel I had a hybrid build since level 20, and I only enhanced maybe 4 stat points throughout all the time I played epicduel.

Stat abuse is the same as using a full enhanced character. True i may be used to stat abuse but without them, now we cant even jugg or face up with pure strength builds D:

I take back what I said. Jug mode has been completely destroyed now weather you are free to play or pay to play. I have fought 10 matches and I lost each of them. normally before I could work with it, but now it is almost impossible if not impossible.

i must admit i was all for this release the only thing i was against was the delays. my god how wrong could i have been . unless i find a way to make the game enjoyable in the next couple of days. im finding a new game . a none AE game at that. i was mistaken to think this release would be a good thing sort out balance. fights are over in seconds now . its completely based on luck . and from my experience so far the first turn gives u a massive advantage . and if i block ive won . they block theyve won nah. not my thing but ill give it a day or two

Anggit has actually helped many of my builds on epic duel, and even gave me the money for varium. He and I are very good friends, so we were on the instant omega launched. Lately my lvl 23 cyber hunter has been on a losing streak, completely reverting his record in his wins/losses. I figured the Omega update would be epic, and along with the stats readjustment comes the fixes in the flaws that my build needed. Well, apparently everybody else fixed their flaws too so it stayed the same or got worse. I am having a hard time winning, even when having a magical amount of tech and dex. My malf should weaken your tech greatly, and it should make it easy pickins to kill you. However, I still get beat by bounty hunters and mercenaries with 6-8 res after I malf them. They magically block, then do an insane amount of damage even on my 20-24 defense. Another thing, it seems as if now everything else is based on luck. It doesn't matter how much of a stat you have any more, it just depends on which attacks you use. Hence why I got killed by a level 18 in one hit with bunker. I have no idea how that happened.

they nerfed stats but the moves didn't take a nerf. Also there are luck based cores out there that is why. Most of them are just that.

Delta even with it's flaws had much more balance then we have now.

I knew this would happen from the start. I still remember criticising the devs about using Omega as just a money maker and got my comment removed. I even remember people going "Oh, it's all gonna be alright in Omega". I'm disappointed in my fellow betas that despite playing this game for several years, lack the basic insight to know a new phase is never hip hip hooray.

The whole point of omega is to have everything balance so no variums can have fun to u have to use enhancements to win an for me jugs have been good won all of them

The problem with enhancements was that for non variums they were sky high so non variums couldn't afford them and get them quickly like varium players. Have enhancements been quick to get non variums would have been to compete a lot better.

But the problem I see now is that while we were nerfed the moves weren't. They are still working like they were with delta.

Add that to the fact we have less health and more freedom with weapons stats matches will be quick.

strength is still a problem, with health and stats decreased, i can't put enough defense up to counter a strength build.

and just as i feared, the battles are still dependent on raw power and ends in 4-5 turns, this is just boring.

Hey guys, balance is always difficult in ED, and at this stage we will be monitoring the balance section to gain an insight as to what we need to do as Omega progresses.

Some of the issues I am reading here are just getting used to the new battle engine and associated changes to builds.

Please be constructive and outline a who, what, when and how format to what the issues are.

Who: The class and/or battle mode
What: Be specific about the issue...
When: At what stage of the battle is it an issue

and finally the most important detail

How: A brief idea of how to rectify the issue

E.G. In juggernaut when I am facing 2 TM as a Mercenary I find that I have no counter to the malfunction and then DA or Auxillary attacks when the battle starts. I'd like to see a one turn warm-up placed on debuffs in 2v1 mode.

That is purely an example, but we do have much greater control over the battle engine now and some issues may be able to have specific fixes that don't overlap between battle modes.

Don't want to lose the fun!

Blocks are ridiculous, as well as low health. I only enhanced one slot to get the achievement so that is not my problem. Whoever gets a block in a battle wins, no matter what... Its kind of ridiculous.

I have to say myself Omega is a let down, theres not much freedom with stats if you want to survive, theres just not the stats in the game anymore to get decent stats and HP, although those mercs are having a feild day with str boosts, maxing HP and str and using their natural tankieness,

Yes i could always switch to merc but the game needs RE-Balanced, that sounds weird considering this waas a balance update but seriosly its alot worse now, we either needs more available stats or the 2-1 HP ratio again

On another note I just encounter one of our staff member in a one vs one duel and he is checking for balance issues. Already told him what I knew about the problems so they will get to the programmers ears.
