@above there was not much diversity in delta, unless you want to lose 90% of the time with what you so called creative builds, people are forced to become identical to their opponents in-order to compete because they abuse the benefits of enhancements, i see you as a smoke and massacre bounty hunter always, i do not see much creativity or diversity in your build.

you still don't get it do you?

No I dont and I never will. Omega will be the worst phase till the day they change the way we buy cores and its all properly balanced.

theholyfighter -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 8:05:49)

@Practel

Then I'll have this question:

Why do NPCs give 12 credits???

NVM, you don't get what he said, and i already explained it to you, so continue with your ignorance.

Lol you are wrong.

It's like selling me a convertible today for 10 times the price than yesterday, only because today it's sunshine and yesterday it was raining.

Face it, retraining was cheap. Delta had other flaws of course, but it allowed you to make a build for 500 credits, then challenge some friends for free and test it, and then change back for 500 credits.

Now calculate in Omega how much does it cost to retrain self, retrain all 4 items, and change about 4 cores for a new build. And then back.

Omega was supposed to be better than Delta, wasn't it?

Then why make retraining awfully expensive?

EDIT: Oh and

Wrong again, I was being already a cyber hunter when you posted this, and I've already changed class 3 times today, and spent quite some varium and credits in testing builds. But this is offtopic and offensive.

Death Carrot -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 8:17:21)

by their ignorance that does not realize that now but everything will stay the same, items and builds, because I doubt anyone will put q in support of your items just focusing on STR, DEX, TEC.

gangster a -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 8:19:11)

^ i like drianx idea about testing your build before you buy anything

Oh I get it. He said that they must be expensive so we gotta battle to earn it. And I dont think there is anything wrong with the prices, but when we cant apply the cores however we want - even when we have bought them once - without paying a fortune, its wrong. Enough is enough. As I said now multible times, but you seem to ignore it while being busy sniffing the devs badumpadunks, let the cores be as any other item. We purchase it once and then its in our inventory and we can equip it with whatever item we want without having to pay fullprice for it again.

Death Carrot -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 8:29:53)

Oba accept

Darkwing -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 9:29:36)

well the item retrain cost is a bit too much. 1000 just to change the stats on weapons(4) + 500 retrain skills/ character stats, makes you think twice before you change builds

theholyfighter -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 9:31:41)

How about this:

Stats arranging on an item costs 100 credits.

Retraining costs 100 credits.

So in all you spend 500 credits to retrain.

Charfade -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 10:16:04)

Drianx: you should think of a way for players to test builds for free and then choose to pay for and keep it or not, because changing a build - including cores - is hugely expensive.

We have tossed around an idea like this many times and its something that would be awesome if we could implement. However it wouldn't be your character you'd test builds on, but rather a computer simulation character you create that doesn't get saved. You would work it like a calculator just feeding it data, cores etc. Its a learning tool I'd personally like to see implemented in the game in the future.

Scyze -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 11:31:27)

I had suggested a free retrain feature for the first week of Omega since we are trying to get a good build.

Now look, most people are wasting Credits on finding a good build. A total rip-off in my mind. The numbers of Skill Cores released is too much; its almost as if the Developers released that much to stun you on making the best decision. When you find a good Core to use, you might end up finding a better one.

The balance doesn't seem to be flat. I've seen pictures from friends on how Omega looks but what is up with the ridiculas price of items? If Artix Entertainment games are a player suggested game, we could've gotten a few choices about how Omega would work.

Drianx -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 14:27:36)

@Charfade

Thanks for replying.

However the issue is not simulating the build creation itself - this can be done in an Excel-like spreadsheet - but the subsequent testing and deciding whether it's worth keeping or not, because the perspective of wasting lots of resources in an ineffective build is extremely annoying.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 15:09:38)

@drianx i meant that you were in delta phase when enhancements still exists.

@charfade personally i would like to be able to edit your weapon stats and character stats at the same time, it would be very convenient and saves our credit too.

ScarletReaper -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 18:26:43)

I think you guys are being extremely ungratefull about all this. Do you even realize what has happened here? EVERYONE is on even ground now. Free players are now just as powerfull as varium users. You can buy previously varium items with credits only. Of course stuff is going to be more expensive when credits are used. Thats just common sense. If you dont want to spend the time to get the credits, then buy varium. That is what it is for now. I for one think the dev's put out an amazing and ground breaking release and am having SO MUCH FUN!!!! Keep up the good work.[:D]

Rapid Hollow -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 22:17:42)

The fact that the players on level ground is good BUT the problem is not every player has 70000 credits lying around to buy cores and upgrade their equipment. i think that omega has balanced the battle system but not the pricing. That is just my personal opinion and anybody has the right to say otherwise. My thread resumes CONTINUE TO DISCUSS!
