As a lot of you players (old & new) have probably noticed, there are a lot of builds out there which are copied e.g. STR, SUPP and many others... However. Many players such as Devs and Mods tend to use their own builds (including me), these builds may not be brilliant at countering EVERYTHING but they do the job(!)

Don't be stubborn and copy a build that someone showed you or you saw. Be creative! There is nothing wrong from being you.

What do you think is over-used? Is there any builds you'd like to discuss and comment on?

Omega was suppost to bring out creative builds, Unique builds.
There is nothing Unique on Copying builds

Well i havnt seen anyone else with my build and i doubt they would want to use it but as you know yourself i was creative and it sure as rain gets the job done,

Almost beat you Vega :P and yes Calo I am indeed! A sprint can change in to a marathon within a few minutes.

With the unique builds.. If you play or have played Juggernaut, you will see a lot of players with high dex/support/str/tech and very tangled builds.. I still think Omega has a spark of light within it.

A bloodmage Vs a Mercinary? Mercs are uber overpowered ATM and i do beleive im doing well considering i can destroy most Mercs and well other classes dont stand much of a chance without a tonn of deflects, crits and first turn :P

Justice the problem here is that people put wanting to win over being creative. No one likes to lose so they will do everything in their power to win and right now copying an OP build rather then making a new one and possibly getting hammered is the key. While we have some creative players like vegafire who don't care about win rate many player do care about their win rates.

Plus with the inbalance of omega as it is now creativity in the minds of competitive people = Does not compute. Plus with the lack of stats a lot of the builds I would normally used don't work well either.

I used one of the first tech mage str builds, making it myself. Would that count as creative? D:
But you're right. A bunch of str abusers are around here

I was kinda the first 5 focus BM when everyone was walking around with Str Builds... ( which didn't involved Super Charge )
Had it like 10-11 months ago

I'm using a high dex build along with skill cores Ninja Reflexes( block chance +4%). I got an energy deletion combo with Frostbite, Energy Shot, and Assimilation. Energy recovery with Generator core and reroute which is a passive skill. Overload adds this build a good damage with a chance to stun your opponent. Concussive shot can become handy in some cases specially with those abusing strength users that got those stun + berserk + double strike builds. I have got around a 80-85% win ratio and it is really fun fighting now.

Omega is nice. With very low hp everything goes much faster.

Right now I'm winning massively with my unique 100+ support 2v2 build. I love it!

^ Maybe thats unique in the 30 lvl range, but not on the lvl cap. I fought about 5 people with supp abuse. Its really effective when you crit every single time, like people always do to me.

After trying 5 builds (Tank, Supp, Supp/Massacre, 5-Focus, 5-Focus Str), and failing I gave up and did what everyone else was doing: Str abuse. I feel so creative. [>:] I am using a much higher heal than most people I see though, so that makes me feel a little better.

I started out trying to use a 4 focus strength build on my bounty, but found it wasn't as effective as pure strength. My merc has been strength for months, so didn't have to change that much, though I may try supp eventually in 2v2.

Creativity may be the key, but it doesn't pay the bills. Basically, choosing creative builds gets you killed more often than you should actually be killed. I went a hybrid Tech Str and Sup build. Needless to say, even against energy club STR mercs, I was being taken down in less than 3 hits (with over 100 hp mind you)

At first I tried my old Tech Mage sword build that wasn't the most creative, but acted as a way to test the waters of omega.

I took what I learned from the first night of omega and crafted my build that is unique and (so far) one of a kind. It turned into a variation of an old build I used with my bounty (modified for tech mage of course) and so far it's working wonderfully, hardly lose to strength mercs anymore.

I am proud of my build because it works and I created it myself. :D

All I see is now are copied builds cough* str mercs *cough* But to take after a few build testing I came with build good to enough and a strategy to counter act them and other builds too. There's no creativity in these people sometimes, So if people keep copying these builds then people who actually use a bit of time and thinking would be able to win against the current dominating classes/builds. It just takes a bit of time to test a few things here and there. [:D]

Ha, people are hardly creative, they would sacrifice their so called creativity for a OP build/class/skill core, its basic human nature, I am not impressed these days, it seems like that I'm the only one who is not eager to try a OP strength beserker build or a strength bloodmage these days.

I am a flopping 150 Dexterity mage.

Some may have seen me. Right now I am less active because of balance. That is never a good thing.

@above well i dunno if you are telling the truth, your character page doesn't work too, plus i didn't say that every single person is not creative, only a few including me are not too eager in getting wins by using OP builds.

my 5 focus cyber hunter with a few weird skill combinations seems pretty creative to me.
