Cyberbeast10 -> Predictable Protection Mechanic? (2/7/2013 19:21:19)

How about this? How about we get a mechanic (Which I called: Predictable Protection) where if you repeat the same action twice in a row, it has a 50% reduced effectiveness for its damage (save some exceptions). For example: If someone strikes me for 30 damage and they do it again next turn, this time it deals 15 damage and it will continue to deal 15 damage (or half) until they perform a different action. But, what constitutes a "same action". Well, I divided them into categories: A) Strike, Sidearm and all moves utilizing STR % (Berserker, Massacre, etc) B) All skills, that do not fall into category A, utilizing the primary weapon to determine the damage (Smokescreen, Malfunction, Assimilation, etc) C) All skills that deal independent damage (Bunker Buster, Multi-Shot, Stun Grenade, etc) D) Robot and Auxiliary E) Field Medic and Boosters (For Health) F) All moves whose soul purpose is to regain energy (Energy Booster/Armor Regen skill core [Only the energy gain aspect will be reduced]) G) All moves whose soul purpose is to take energy (EMP/ Energy drain skill core) What purpose does this have? Weaken STR builds Buff "buffing" skills. Since they don't fall into any of the above categories, they can be used to "reset". Due to lower level limitations, this mechanic only takes effect for players level 10 and higher!
