So one thing i've noticed is that everyone loses a lot more in Omega, and it can be extremely frustrating. So my question is, how do you handle it? Do you just shrug it off? Do you curse out your opponent? Blame the ED Gods? Throw your computer against a wall? Rage quit? OR ALL OF THE ABOVE?! Because I can't say I haven't done them all... :P.

Shrugs it off [:'(]

XxKirachanXx -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 16:09:55)

I have actually been having a bit of success with my focus BH, more than I did before, I have gone from winning about 60% to more like 92%.

It was really bad though for me, about mid-Delta, and I would get stuck in such a terrible rut that I would work myself into getting a headache. I would leave and watch youtube or something. I don't handle my frustration too well and to be honest, I have clashed with the censor more than once lol, especially when I was called a noob. They prolly didn't even know what the term even meant, but oh well.

beastmo -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 16:11:13)

I rage quit clutch ( you know this)

ValkyrieKnight -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 16:54:55)

It never bothered me a great deal. The only time I've ever gotten pissed off in real life is when I kept losing to the same build over and over, different person, same build. When I swapped builds to counter it I just lost to another overused build. I still do this very day cannot fathom how people can enjoy the game knowing their build is identical to everyone elses. To my dismay whenever someone saw me with a crazy build I was called a noob for it. How can people be so dumb as to not realize when someone is experimenting?

Overall if I really QQ'd over losing that much I wouldn't still be here ( played delta as mostly non var ) I just hate people who copy builds more than anything else. But this mindset of mine goes to every game I play.

Leprechaun -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 17:05:04)

The non variums (NV) are more experienced then variums (V) because before omega NV were using insane strategies to gain some equality while V were just sitting all fancy and bursting huge numbers with their shiny gear. Mow given powerfull gear NV still use more advanced strategies like they are used to so V feel underpowered. In time NV will get used to power and not strategy and the hole between V and NV will be gone.

OmilliYo -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 17:11:06)

In Delta i would always get paired up with varium commanders & emperors (which is why i stop 1v1 until Omega), I can handle varium warlords most times. If i get paired with a commander + varium , then i don't get mad a losing, i just don't have any chance so i get mad at getting paired with them. Now if my opponent wins by blocking my final strike then that's kinda annoying :3. I deal with it by logging out.

EpicCoconut -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 17:12:54)

Well there is no technical hole between NV and V. The V have just as much chance to win as the NV.
On topic: As a NV I'm fairly used to being demolished. Just try something else in the next match.

liy010 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 17:17:25)

Depends.

Sometimes, I just shrug it off
Other times, I swear and blame the RNG
And then sometimes, I don't stop playing until I get an equal number of wins as losses, which just stacks up losses instead, so I never finish :<

Dual Thrusters -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/9/2013 15:38:05)

I don't really care unless i get really unlucky

Onlythestrong -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 11:14:11)

before i quix for 1 year now i just log off come back on

Scyze -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 12:39:26)

Feel stupid playing this game.
Turn the computer off do something better like watch the wall. ~Extreme moments.

Just slamming the desk is fine for me. Have brokeon the keyboard in Delta.

ansh0 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 14:01:38)

I only rage if I lose to a a support mercenary or support CH.

Call me judgmental but I think all support mercs/CH's are braindead idiots who are too stupid to think of a build that uses SOME strategy. Instead, they smack all stats into support and crit the hell out of their opponents.

They don't deserve to win.

IMO.

Calogero -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 14:01:53)

I usualy don't say anything. But if a guy that uses a Spam build, gets lucky and then says GG
I just quick say " Spam and Luck isn't a GG "

Teufel Hunden -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 14:13:01)

When i lose, i get off the cold floors of delta V, dust myself off, and jump right back into battle. :P. no but seriously i just shrug it off bc it doesnt really matter much. we are all gonna win some and lose some. that is the point of fighting in this game. if you are not willing to lose then you might as well just stay fighting oz. haha. I wish you all luck in your future endeavors.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 14:13:59)

I mark how many losses left until I level up. You see I have a very negative outlook on my chances to win so I always count the next level up by how many loses are left

ScarletReaper -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 15:08:21)

Depends. If they block 3 times and crit to win I say "luck much?" If it's a non luck based fight and they best me with superior strategy I say "Nice fight." Anything in between I say GG. Anytime someone says noob, I just say "Yea you are." or "Shouldn't talk about yourself that way." By the way that was a fun battle earlier Digital X. I seem to have bested you that time though. ^_^

sleddyboy3 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 15:14:31)

Usually, I'll just do a "don't be srs" face, if I lose because I deflect, and they have 1 HP left..

If it's an extreme luck match, like, they get 1 block, 2 deflects, and a crit, I'll just ragequit to Netflix.

Wootz -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (3/10/2013 20:20:38)

Well, I react lighter then to Driver 2 (that game is the reason I don't have a PlayStation anymore).
Sometimes I just don't care. Sometimes I type something and "Wow. That is totaly innapropriate!" (Sarcasm, the chat filter is screwed up, can't even write 'fantastic' among other words on my own bloody language). Or just in the middle of the battle I think "screw it" and go play something else. Go take a smoke, come back, and cuss out loud.
Seriously, in all fairness, I think that the chat filter is not rellevent. Some people deserve to get a piece of anothers mind.

Loves and kisses,
~Wootz
