What do you think?

  • Has EpicDuel become more into luck than Delta or not?
  • Or is EpicDuel more into Stat points?

    MY thoughts is that it is more on luck now. Even with higher support, you/ your opponent goes first. Going first has a massive advantage.
    Also, people with lower Dexterity block more than the past. Luck or Stat?

    *I had actually thought Mercenary with a Strength build will be the strongest class since it has Berzerker. Now, its true!*

    Mostly LUCK, but sometimes STATS.

    Most of the time it is luck. I thought Omega was supposed to be more stat based. I have 27 Technology and I got deflected 2-4 times in a 100 battles...

    It should've be right now. I mean, I just had a battle with G00NY who had 15-30 or so Resistance and no deflections...

    Hmm, luck has not changed (if it did, by 1%).

    What has changed is how much of an impact luck has on a single turn.

    How hasn't luck changed?

    People with barely any support keep going first, rarely any deflections, more blocks & criticals...

    But yeah, you go first, you will win more.

    nah i think void had a point in his first post lucks just a lot more devastating now without enahancements and less hp . and varium being way way WAY WAY WAY weaker -__-.

    luck does need adjusting if thats possible

    Void definitely has a point. Without enhancements but with block/deflect/crit cores, block, defl, and crit chances are all around the same as in delta, if not less. The problem is its a lot less predictable because you don't know what cores your opponent has, and you'll often make the wrong decision on whether to gun or strike. Luck does have a much higher impact on the game, though. I can pretty much destroy strength builds because of max shadow + ninja reflexes, and I can stop their deflectables with malf and/or my omega dark yeti. Of course, if my insanely high block chance of around 20-25% fails me, then I'd probably lose because of poor luck. Support definitely needs increased scaling for going first, though.

    Well knock knock devs, if you want us players to simply use skill cores more strategically MAYBE not decrease 1 health = 1 stat point and INCREASE defense and resistance points by stat progression as well as REDUCING the progression of dexterity and technology, we would still have tanks to out match players.

    This happens for two reasons:
    - fights are too short
    - damage/defenses ratio is too high

    It is exactly the same situation as two people pointing guns at each other. Damage is too high, fight is one-shot short. Obviously the one who shoots first wins.
