I plead that I am not the only person who thinks that weapon damage and armour Defense/Resistance as awkward. Let me put it to you this way:

Weapons start at about 15 damage at level 1 and become the same damage as your level over the levels. Auxiliaries are always 4 to 5 more in damage. You do not see armour until level 10 (not anymore) but when you do it is only 1 point of protection. And armours grow very slowly, only 10 points of protection at the high end.

These things are practically permanent.

I am probably going to receive some response of something like "don't worry about these things man they are balanced". My question to you is... really? Weapons and armour have to be THE most difficult thing to balance.

Because they are separate from stats, when stats change these do not. When these items change, stats do not. But you know what changes every time...? Balance.

My suggestion is simple: MAKE US WHOLE!... Whoops, spazzed. I mean, make items and stats 1 in the same thing. How is this done? Remove weapon damage, remove armour defenses, add more stats. Man, you can use armours to boost health. Make it simple, and balance problems become simple. Thanks.
