Exploding Penguin -> Too many unblockables for strength builds (2/9/2013 11:28:29)

The title declares it: There are too many unblockable options for strength builds, giving them pretty much no worries about being blocked. There's chairman's fury, meteor shower/thorn assault/jack-o-fire, and a gun. The only way they're gonna gamble is if they got blocked on a skill like maul, bludgeon, etc...

I think chairman's fury AND meteor shower should be set to increase with another stat, or be set to a constant damage based off of level.

If you ask me, str builds are asking for more buffs when they should be nerfed.

Yer, they feel that the game is too "luck-based"

The point of investing a lot in strength is to gamble deflection and blocks ruining the strength build.

I actually wanted to talk about this, this is extremely lame, I fight a merc with full str and a energy main, so I use my energy shield giving me +35 resistance, it doesn't matter to him as he guns me, then proceeds to use CF and then Meteor, then my shield is gone, he uses berzerker, boom dead. There really is too many unblockables for strength.
