Mother1 -> RE: Remove luck factor limits (2/13/2013 0:32:08)

This will only affect one strength build with one class and that is strength merc with maul and if the merc using this strength build doesn't have maul then this plan is worthless. Plus No other strength build class uses stun moves as they are all for damage output and their strength moves work best with dex and tech (plasma grenade for cyber hunter)

Also while luck is nice to have, it is not something everyone should rely on 100% of the time. Just because you have a 35% chance to block something doesn't mean it will happen will it? Plus even with all this guess what? Strength builds do have unblockable's such as chairman's fury, thorn assault, Jack o fire, and a couple of others. You can't block or deflect those now can you?

@ zeph

Ever hear of the azreal's borg, Many strength builds in the past have use this bot to get around those and what is to stop them from using it to break these shields once again?

Blitzex/Sr. Zeph -> RE: Remove luck factor limits (2/13/2013 0:41:08)

And how many people have that bot, and how many people are str spammers these days?

I think i would rather have some debuff then that i would get berzed all over me, and i think you know as good as i do this will NOT get as OP as Str MERCS these days.
Only thing youre trying to do is getting your right here, but you as good as i do this will NEVER be as OP as str builds!

@ zeph

Remember what you told me before omega about strength Merc not being OP. Guess what happened a few balance changes later the same strength build you claimed wasn't a threat is now being used to destroy the masses.

In other words a bad balance change without checking out the possibility of something else becoming OP.

Plus how do we even know that this won't be as OP as strength Merc's as now or very close two it? Answer we don't no do we? You can only assume that it won't be as OP since it hasn't been tested.

Because this can be countered easily with:
Debuffs
Skills
Robots
Cores

And what do we have to counter str builds:
Pray for a block

See the difference mother?

Mother1 -> RE: Remove luck factor limits (2/13/2013 5:07:12)

@ zeph

I still see this idea as being OP in itself.

Even if you predicted this correctly about debuffs it would still OP any build that has 10 more dex or tech then that person by taking away your blocks or deflects.

this will give even more free unblockable/deflectable hits just because you have 10 more tech then your opponent or dex then your oppoennt. It will destroy balance even worse then what it is now and lord forbid if you run into one of those strength merc's who actually invested some points into dex and they have 10 more dex then you. You will be screwed and you even worse then before.

Then there is Jug mode. Depending on the situation this would either OP or UP the jug. if they higher levels they could make the Jug UP and visa versa if it is lower levels.

I still think nerfing strength or the moves that work with strength would be a much better idea then doing this since it is attack the problem head on at the source rather then putting a bandage over a wound we know it won't fit over.

Ik that would be better, but this would also work.
And since they still havent done a single thing about those str builds we can always make some nerfs up
