Samurai_ED -> Buy any weapon if you aren't the correct class (2/10/2013 19:18:18) I want them to let us buy any weapon like blades, staffs, and clubs no matter your class. It always said you need to be bounty hunter for blades when I am a mercenary, and I can't buy it.

Also, there are many skills that wouldn't work with different weapons, so there would be no advantage to using a different classes weapon. It would be like having a sword, but with less dmg and stat mods. Edit: If you mean just buying the primary when you're the wrong class, then I support.

Basically, the point of classes is to give everyone unique experiences and most of that experience is based on your class. All classes already get access to the same guns, bots, aux's and swords as each other, making the only weapon differentiation that of class specific weapons (Wristblades, staffs and mauls). That, armours, hairstyles and skills are the three main differences between different classes, and we really need to keep them that way. On top of that, allowing different weapons types on others characters would require hundreds of frames of animation to be made/changed so people can use skills with all these different looking weapons. As an extra point, it just would not look right having Mercs with staffs and Techmages with wristblades etc. it starts to destroy the point behinds some classes.
