I think it is... unwise to make a post that suggests players bomb Omega; It's not very constructive (something this community lacks is giving constructive criticism; instead we tear everything down), and secondly it's not beneficial to any one in any way. In any case, Omega might just be the best thing to happen to this game. Not now though, right now it isn't fantastic. It IS getting there, and there is slow but sure progress. I think the devs know what they're doing here. Anyways, things that I don't like about omega: There are three. 1: The imbalance shown by strength and the lack of action by the community. Every day, all we see is players complaining about how overpowered mercenary and bounty hunter are, but all these players do is flock straight to these classes and builds, making a bad problem worse. Does anyone really believe rubbing salt into the would will make it better? Of course not. It only makes it worse. This game cannot be fixed if the community does not take the initiative to help themselves, and stop pointing the finger at the devs. There is no justified reason to point the finger at the people who did not create the problem. The potential always existed. We can't go blaming the devs for everything because lately, they've been playing "clean up crew", solving problems the community brought on themselves. EVERY PLAYER HERE is guilty of abusing strength at some point. We've all done it. How about we stop complaining and stop using the build, or better yet, take the initiative to create something that will beat mercenaries? All I hear is "Oh I beat mercenaries all day every day" and such nonsense. If that were the case, why is the build still going strong? Stop lying, take action and be productive rather than just sit down and complain, or even worse lie and not provide a solution whilst you claim to have one. 2: I greatly dislike the credit system. I think the distinction between varium and credits was key. It gave the varium players a certain advantage. It was, however, horrendously overpowered, and so the varium players, myself included, abused this and controlled the game with an iron fist. This balance no longer exists. I, and many other players, have spend quite a great deal of money earned working eight of our waking hours every day, and now it has been thrown out the window. There should be at least SOME kind of advantage. The players who purchase varium carry the rest on their shoulders. Sad as it might be, this is true. It is wrong to remove their, our privileges. YES the non-varium demographic should be stronger, YES varium and enhancements were overpowered, YES there SHOULD be restraints and balancing implemented to stop Delta from happening again. But now, it was simply a waste of money. It no longer has anything to do with the game. 3: The amount of smack talked about how bad omega is, let's go back to delta, blah blah blah. Delta didn't work. It failed. It fell flat on it's face. It had HUGE potential. Unfortunately, between the community's incessant complaints and "solutions" to problems, and the devs being overwhelmed by the task at hand, it did not work. Omega is the key to a new age, key to a new era for Epicduel. Either accept this and enjoy, or please stop complaining. It might not be good, but it's the best we have, and have had in a long time. @Below In that case, I tip my hat to you, give you a virtual high-five, and bestow upon you the EpicDuel Medal of Excellence.
