Now I know this has been addressed multiple times in different threads but I think maybe a little less base block chance would help. Now with cores and SA block chance can reach up to 49%! Now I know this probably will get run into the ground but 25%-30% instead of the current 35%? Feedback please? :)
(I didn't know if to put this in suggestions or balance, sorry if I messed up!)

Until they take care of those crazy strength builds and this at the same time no. This crazy block rate is the only counter for some and if they lower it this will only help that two turning merc build and the other OP strength builds.

For the time being it should actually be raised because of those brainless str spammers.
If str gets nerfed, then i would consider it.

@mother1 Well then what are the other classes supposed to do? As a low level even if I go first I can't do anything unless they have a physical weapon which isn't very common.

It's our last chance against brainless str build but unfortunately they also have it.

Would you rather hav strength pures killing everybody because they never get blocked or stop this hazard and have more blocks.

This is a way to stop strength. But blocks aren't stopping strength entirely like massacre and or using your gun.

Keep the blocks, longer game. Stops strength from ruining the game.

Use your unblockable's that is what. you can't block guns, auxs, or other non melee attacks. Use those. if they nerf this then the only counter for these builds will be gone and everyone if they want to compete will have to become a strength merc.

Not sure if you were around this time last year it was the same problem but with Blood mage. Back then we didn't have that crazy block rate, and because of it there was a ton of hate for blood mage because everyone jumped to the class to use it for fast wins.

@mother1 I was currently playing then, and I know most people rely on those blocks maybe after those str builds get a nerf? I thought they were going to in the near future

That was what me and Zeph actually said in our first posts. When strength get a decent nerf then I am all for the crazy block rate going, but until then leave it as is because otherwise strength builds will destroy everyone with their melee attacks.

actually considering its not that hard to get high dex strengh and hp and still have middle of the road technology with the system as it stands . the block rate helps the brainless strengh builds as much as everyone else. so im not sure i buy into that argument

Most I run into use their melees more then anything else. As for me I use my unblockables to get around this and use melee attacks when needed to avoid this as much a possible.

^i see your point i however still think its ridicolous that a strengh build can almost match a tanks block chance surverely outdmg them and have more hp.
