New Release Schedule Coming Soon!

Overpowered Bosses

Hello Oversoul Players,
Your experiences in the game are being heard and taken into consideration. We will make sure boss powers are adjusted soon since the game's main features are not in-game yet.

New Game Features

I wanted card customization, artifacts, elemental counters, leader boards and alignments to be in 3 months ago! This game is not the game I came to make without those features. Warlic and Rolith are working as fast as they can but also have to split their time with other games. The only thing that makes these features so complicated to code is the fact that we made this an MMO game. But true PvP matches is what this game was designed around so leaving that out was not an option.

Me and Rev are doing our best to pump out content that have some sort of purpose behind them. The quest system is not yet able to support anything more than what is in-game already. As of now we are just trying to populate the world. Creating new backgrounds, characters, animations, gameplay features like new card specials, quests and story is pretty challenging to do and also be unique every week. It's just too much for 2 let alone 1 person to do.

Bi-Weekly Releases
Soon, Oversoul will move to bi-weekly releases for two reasons:
1. I need to help on other projects like AE's upcoming mobile games and AQW3D Legends of Lore!
2. The weeks I don't help on other games will give us time to release a better quality update to you Oversoul Players.

Oversoul will be a completely different animal once we have all the core functions of the game working. Slowly but surely, it's coming!

-Nulgath

I hope the bosses gets buffed again once Artifacts and Stats are out; no fun if we can beat them in seconds with the extra str we get from those.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!? Nulgath how could you? bi-weekly *crys*[:(]

dragon warth -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 3:30:35)

whats bi weekly ?

Aranq -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 3:33:23)

Once every two weeks.

Oliver Bell -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 3:37:10)

Makes sense, at least until the core features are working properly.

BumFoolingGuy -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 4:14:05)

Well at least the current bugs will crushed in the current process of the bi-weekly releases.

The cores features will be steady anyway for them to work good.

What worries me is that I have seen this before. Herosmash did the same thing. Warpforce too. I wish that they would leave Nulgath to get his game out of beta before moving him around. I really hope history doesn't repeat itself.

Devil of Nulgath -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 15:27:24)

Oversoul needs more developers.. Right now 6 or 7 developers, 3 of them working on other projects, this was bound to happen

HSsouleater -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 16:21:23)

Before the game came out I was glad they were doing Bi Weekly so it would give them more time to work on releases.

So im fine this this.

Cagey -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 16:25:39)

Bi-Weekly? This can be a good thing since we will get more Quality than Quantity.

Finncollier -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 19:24:24)

your going to turn oversoul into mechquest. Look what happened to mechquest. it. is. DEAD. please dont kill oversoul aswell its the only A.E i still play

superbat67 -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/16/2013 19:30:07)

lol mechquest doesnt do bi weekly dude they try to release every Friday dude and thats pretty mean to the MQ staff when u stay something that they have been making is dead when it isnt even dead because ur just being ignorant because MQ is still going on because dead means warpfoce which is something that they stopped altogether. They're even trying to make a MW3D if u actually read the design notes so they can get old MQ players back. that doesnt seem dead to me. This would be a great thing for oversoul because like cag said we want new features not more quantity

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/17/2013 3:05:16)

If you guys don't really understand, Nulgath stated his reason and we must understand this, but we don't have to worry because i am sure OS will have better releases once Nulgath is done with AQ3D project.

But....why are they then releasing the Big Finale in MQ? That doesn't make sense....

And as Megaknight said, Nulgath is just going to help with the AQ3D project, it's not like he will permanently leave OS. And now we will probably get too see gameplay features instead of new chars every week :)

hijinks -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/17/2013 15:45:50)

MQ is NOT dead. Not when it has a pretty loyal player base who loves the game.

Mritha -> RE: =OS= Design Notes February 15, 2013: New Release Schedule Coming Soon! (2/17/2013 17:49:45)

MQ is also not on topic. If you would like to discuss it, there is a forum for it.
